When I feel burnt out then I just go back to questing and exploring. I get that people find questing dumb and stupidly boring but questing is the reason you started playing in the first place... Why not go bash a few mobs to death for awhile help some citizens out.

With me its the opposite. I get burnt out if the content is too easy. IE lower than novice difficulty on skyrim. Add to that the lack of rewards from dungeons and the lack of any creative dungeon design and it is a death sentence .

I'm the opposite, if the content is difficult or stressful, I avoid it. I don't play a game to be stressed or worry about dying, etc... when I play I want to relax and do content minus the drama. That was the great thing about One Tamriel, I can go anywhere from the start without worrying about anything being difficult. Considering I create/delete new characters all the time, this is what has kept me playing steady for over three years- minus a four month break.
What annoys me about the game is what happened with Morrowind and the nerfing of resources turning the game into 'heavy attacks online'. Sad how game developers develop the game for THEMSELVES but not for the actual PLAYERS who are the ones playing the game. MOST players don't have the same vision for the game that they do, and they really need to start developing content and making changes that the players want, not forcing THEIR vision onto the majority who don't want it. That was the biggest problem with DCUO and also with Marvel Heroes Omega... they developed the game for what THEY saw or how THEY thought people should play... and now DCUO is barely hanging on and MHO is gone. ESO would do well to learn from their mistakes and start considering what the players themselves want... and I don't know of ANY player who wanted/likes the over the top resource nerf that Morrowind brought.

The game was right there installed right in front of me. Whispering to me "click click" and i still couldn't
The worst part is ill miss these goodies when I return to the game when the new chapter is announced for my ES lore dosage .
And I freaking bought 200 crates at a time once and now I denied free ones.
I am not telling this game is boring or something . This game is awesome and most of the players in it.

Agreed. Personally, I found Clockwork City to be some of their best work to date from the perspective of world building. Literal world building in this case.I want to make my backyard look like the Evergloam now.

If you enjoy the game, then play.
If you don’t enjoy the game, then don’t play.
There are so many options. Use them. Don’t get tied down to just one. Nobody is forcing you to login...except yourself.

I agree
The purpose is like other posts of this nature, to complain.
Still finding new things in this game after 2 years

This is mostly due to the gameplay changes meaning I'm not able to run like I used to, or have the freedom of build I used to.
When I cant play my way like the tagline says, yeah I got burnt out fairly quickly.
