    hello everyone, hello to zos

    first a short summary:

    Breton:
    max magicka +10%
    spell ress +3960
    reduced spell cost -3%

    Altmer:
    max magicka: +10%
    mag reg: +9%
    more eledamage: 4%

    Argonian
    max Magicka: +3%.
Whenever you drink a potion you restore 4620 Health, Magicka, and Stamina
    max healt: +9%
    pioson & disease ress: 1485
increased healing done and resived +5%

if u compare the two so called master races to the breton race its totaly clear why they are better than them. even dunmer is a better magica class than breton.

since i really love how bretons look (idk why but the most beautiful chars i created are bretons) is there any posibility to tweak them a little bit? maybe 6% mag reg could help

    what does u guys think?

Greetings from the deserts of Eslweyr...if you feel usless or underpowered here have a look at this
-Nimble:20% hp regen + 10% stam regen(we were supposed to have it changed to increase max stam+stam regen but 2 much forum QQ so we only got the name changed)
-Stealthy: 3% detection radius in stealth+10% extra dmg from stealth (this is good for world/RP etc...probably in pvp like 1% but lets face it...overall it has no practical use and I see it as the 2nd RP passive in game)
-Carnage: 8% mele crit (probably the best passive in game right now... it could have added spell crit as well so in case u want to play magikat you could had some diversity)
so then I as you again...do you feel weak? at least you have all your racials useful...so do what everyone does... to your things or change your race if you cant...I for one will never swap to a non-khajiit character... and that's dedication be it good or bad :D I will make it work. and probably we will get some new race changes cuz they always are bound to happen.

Increase cost reduction passive to 4-6% and it would not upset any race balance.

Have you not considered the difference between classes and builds?

It's like saying I'm gonna make a stam sorc but I wanna make it Dunmer. But Redguard is clearly better, so can we change Dunmer so it works better.

    Bretons are fine (for PVP):
    - recent CP and sustain nerfs and siphoner buff make the cost reduction a great passive. Others have done the math, but just remember it stacks very well with Light Armor Templars allowing you to run 3 dmg enchants if you can find the extra sustain elsewhere.
    - max mag is fine as is (we shouldn't have a separate tank passive and dmg passive; doesnt match Breton identity. Max mag serves both as a resource pool and a shield boost with some influence on dmg; versatile stat)
    - spell resists stacks well with light armor and templars/DKs. 23k resists buffed and with certain sets/traits in PVP you can see this number rise to 33k which rivals Heavy armor. This lets you pump up physical mitigation heavily allowing you to offset Light Armor's primary weakness; low physical resists.

In order to add more dmg stats, you'll need to reduce the spell resists to compensate. And this would not match Breton lore because you would be giving up Breton magical versatility in favor of raw destructive elven (dirty) affinity:
" The passionate race of Bretons embodies the strengths of both Men and Mer—as well as their flaws."
In addition to their quick and perceptive grasp of spellcraft, even the humblest of Bretons can boast a resistance to magical energies. They are particularly skilled at summoning and healing magic. - Oblivion In-Game Text

Whatever happened to "I want to make a <whatever race>" because I like the idea not some % damage meter game? That shtaco got boring quickly in WoW and led to races and classes being homogenised to appease the dps-gods. I would rather not see it here.

I made a Snow Elf tank (Altmer Warden) Its actually a pretty **** good tank. People just don't take the time to adjust for there race passive.
    ...
Spellcharge III - Mag recovery, more resources for cast skills a.k.a. my heals and buffs, still only have 1600-1800 recovery depending on gear.
    ...
Gift of Magnus III - Max magicka basically same as above only have 12-16k depending on gear
    ...
Elemental Talent III -Elemental damage all my roots and snares are Frost, just burns them a little more
    Maiden Maura - Xbox NA
Warden Ice Tank (By far my favorite) -RIP #Nerfmire

Breton stands as the current best PvE healing race IMO , so I don't understand how it can be considered weak. When compared to an Altmer, the 3% reduction is going to be more beneficial than 9% regen when you take into account the cost of skills like BoL, purge, ritual, orbs and so on. For the last passive its spell resist versus an elemental damage increase, and I don't know about you, but I'd prefer to have more survivability rather than boosting my underwhelming damage to slightly less underwhelming. On the surface an Argonian seems better with the increase in healing done and resource return from pots, but you lose out on 7% magicka and get 0 regen or cost reduction from any of their other passives, so when balanced out I think Breton comes out on top here too.
