Xynode does all the things you ask for. Goes in depth about gear, stats, and champion points..and why it all works together.
Check him out. His Magicka sorcerer build changed my life.

that and Whoeler's for tank builds is pretty much where I go to. it does have a LOT of limitations (in that it only covers few possible builds, assumes that you will be playing in a set group etc), but if you want meta builds assuming Meta groups? that is where you go. it does offer several stages of cp distribution starting with 160, as well as starter gear sets that will make farming your BiS possible. so.. there's that?
if you want anything more creative, I'm afraid there isn't as much out there, and you'll just have to come up with it on your own.

yes, both sites have information for a newer player and more experienced which is a plus. Alcast has some build information for those more interested in having more sustatian as well so it covers much. Ofc both have a good amount of experience in their roles.

NOS an a most of the good build guys quit after the last update, so where is the site to go to to find some decent builds. I loved using the Theory Crafting site, NOS and other like him came up with some great ideas and detailed out everything including CP etc. Personally i'm not good at coming up with builds on my owe and way to old to try and learn, just trying to stay competive. here's a link to that site for those who have never seen it.
tks in advance

This, Tamrielfoundry, Alqast + Woeler.
...but I somewhat agree to the TO in terms of Tamrielfoundry, the site seems somewhat asleep now concerning builds and build updates...A few really good ones left (Jeckl) or are missing in action (Yolo ?).

I really would like to see more love for theorycrafting in Tamriel Foundry, because it really is a great hub for people to post their own builds and guides in what they specialize in and are passionate about. There's a lot to learn from in just one place with so many different guides made by different people with different playstyles.
I also would like to shamelessly plug my own guides that I've posted on Tamriel Foundry; I've made one for stamina Dragonknights and another for stamina Sorcerers. I go really in-depth about different topics in each one, covering the basics such as gear and abilities to advanced things like gory details on racial passives and how ping affects your rotations; hopefully, the style is what you guys are looking for.

I think you are the only one active there these days, which is a shame.
I, like others, prefer written, detailed builds over YouTube videos, but I don't think we get much of that anymore.
My DPS went from "close to 30K" to "over 40k" once I discovered NOS's, Jekyll's and your guides on Foundry. Also Maesel's.

What DPS do you get on his build in a trial?
He doesn't do a dummy test so how can I tell if his build is actually good?
