Random Dungeon issue?

me + 3 friends (group of 4 with each role) tried using the random dungeon finder, vet and normal.
It won't allow us in because "one or more of our party members does not have the DLC content....."
3 of us have eso+ and the other has purchased every single dlc available (including the ones without any dungeons)

If we drop any single person in the group and use the activity finder with 3 people instead of 4... it allows it. We tried it multiple times dropping different people out of the group.

Did something change and you can't queue with a full group anymore? We used to do this all the time with no issues to get the daily bonus.

    This is an new dungeon finder bug introduced then they added level restrictions for dlc dungeons.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    I reported this a little bit ago because me and a friend had the same issue with just 2 of us. If you do random it will put you in a DLC dungeon. You just can't specifically queue for one.

    Considering they still haven't fixed the issue of having to do multiple ready-checks, even when everyone in queue already readied up, along with the fact that sometimes when you queue you get stuck in a "Phantom Queue" that will never actually proc a ready-check, I am extremely skeptical that this particular issue will be fixed this week.

    Let's go over all of the known bugs with the Group Finder, shall we?

    1. Phantom queues that will never proc a ready check. Just yesterday I was in queue for over 20 minutes, and I cancelled the queue, re-queued, and IMMEDIATELY got a ready check.

    2. Multiple ready checks proccing before the game actually puts the group together.

    3. Getting a "jump failed, instance is full" error constantly when trying to get into a dungeon. Sometimes it fixes itself after a few minutes, sometimes it never fixes itself and you have to forfeit your 15-minute queue timer for another chance, only to get another jump failure on your next attempt.

    Activity Finder has always been badly broken in at least one way ever since the game released. With each major patch, we never know what particular flavor of glitch we're going to get. Is it really that hard, Zenimax?

    Yeah good call on the "instance is full" error. I forgot about that one. Also really annoying. Have any of the 3 issues that Dinosaur listed ever been commented on by ZoS? I know for a fact that 1 and 3 have been in the game since Homestead with the multiple ready-check thing starting to happen for me in Morrrowind. This is almost a year for some of these bugs, where are the fixes? Why is the activity finder still mired in sewage? Looks like I'll have to do a hard reset before every dungeon queue during this event costing me tons of time. Just disgraceful.

    I've had it happen to me when I queued in for a newly created dungeon group. Three of us were in the dungeon, run had just started, yet only 3 of us were ported in with the 4th unable to jump. Yes it mostly happens when trying to queue for a replacement member but it can happen at other times. You are correct about Homestead creating a lot of these issues. Going on 10 months of them not being addressed.

    You're telling me the game lets an offline player pass a ready check? And that this is such a common occurrence that it's happening every 2 out of 3 times I queue? And every single time this is happening, every single member of the group is showing as online, complete with health bars?

    They could help a lot with this by pushing out more info.

    We get......... how long we've been queued. Quite awesome but I can get that info from a stopwatch thanks.

    I'd much rather they gave some real info.
    • position in queue
    • group reset x minutes ago because someone left/logged off whatever
    • whether my group has been filled
    • other good stuff I don't know to ask for
    Whether its in forum (loading screen issue) or in game, (queue times), keeping your customers informed is always better than leaving them to stew and brew up some real negative emotions.

    The phantom queues mentioned, I've actually waited for like 2 1/2 hours for a queue to pop in the (recent) past and then gave up. What, as a damager, is a reasonable expectation of how long a queue should take to pop? I accept that there will be variation between daily pledges and other stuff but I simply don't know what I should be expecting.

    Also entering a dungeon when its half done and being unable to complete your pledge when you fill, causing an endless chain of people leaving half way through the instance

    Had this issue awhile ago, one solution was to give lead to the one who doesn't have the DLC.

    Not sure if that's still the same problem.

    It's a different issue because in this scenario everyone has the DLC but the group is still unable to go into the dungeon.
