For the same mount yes account wide but if you use a different mount that training should be separate.
Lorebooks and skyshard maybe account wide but only some percentage.
Motif, styles maybe do account wide.

Who in Gods name plays eso for the love a lore/skyshard hunting?! Seriously there are many many more less mind numbing things to do in game like questing with story line content etc if your that way inclined.

And don't even get me started on mounts and bank space. Iv got 13 character slots ffs

If this *** moved over you'd be able to have a level 1 character with something like 100 skill points, all of your CP, max guilds and max mount speed. Brand new plays running around thinking they can do everything moving at 100 mph casting 2dmg meteors, no thanks.

I did not use any addons while leveling my first 4 characters. Sure I used an online skyshard map that I printed out, but anyone can do that. But, the only reason I used the map is I can be 3 feet away from a skyshard and not see the glow or here the darn thing.

As for the lore books, those can be seen from a long way away, there are almost always 4 copies in the game in a close geographic area. So, yes these things are easy to find just being in the game, and if not, a map can be printed out to help you.

I have done it many times. Both with addons and without. As I said above, I used no addons while leveling my first 4 characters.

I think Lorebooks should be account wide, everything else no, mounts and skyshards are a direct exploration and immersion feature. Though, quests that you earn Skill Points on should be account wide.

The biggest turn off on this games replay value is because you cant try a new character with out at least a week of prep work, and im being realistic. most of us have jobs kids etc and can not invest a lot of time just to try something new

Only mount upgrades. Lorebooks wouldn't be ok unless you gave people an account wide option for fighters guild too. As far as skyshards, no cause you should have to grind some stuff to make new characters.

Account wide mount upgrades would be welcome - or at least having the option to purchase upgrades with an increasing cost modifier that would then be the thing that resets every 20 hrs, instead of the current arbitrarily time-gated situation.

You can do lorebooks & skyshards together, hit lvl 10 mage guild and acquire plenty of skill points in only a few hours - and if you work on them whilst levelling a new character you don't really have to go "out of your way" for either. It wouldn't really bother me though if they were made account wide - despite having already put the effort in on most of my characters.

You can buy the mages guild skill line now, so it's not going to happen.

I don't care too much about the time it takes for mount upgrades because I usually create one new character at a time. The only time I had more than 2 characters that needed horse training was when they first switched the system from being mount-based to being character based and everyone got another 120 training opportunities.

That said, being able to train all 3 stats daily would be a compromise.

Well, the thing is that the game is designed in such a way that you will get your skyshards and lore books WHILE questing. If you decide to focus on only one aspect of the game and get bored with that, then it's really the player's choice to do that.
