Skyshard and lorebook hunting, along with fishing, are my favorite activities in this game. I would also vote no for the horse and would go as far as to say that each alt must earn their own cp separately, because its good for the longevity of the game, in my opinion.

Hard disagree on that last point... It's taking me long enough to reach CP cap as it is. I'd simply stop playing my alts if I had to grind them up separately.

As for the poll, I'd like to see account-wide mount training. I'm ambivalent, re: the rest. It would be nice not to have to find all those skyshards again (esp. since I'm on console, and it's a pain), but I understand why some would want to keep it as it is.

Knowledge of crafting styles should be account wide - that would be really nice. And horse training would be nice, as it is quiete boring “minigame” lasting for quiete a long time. Others are not that painfull and I would let them be unchanged.

No, I do NOT want any of that.
ESO -already- has more account wide stuff than ANY other MMORPG I played, and it makes completely no sense to give people even less to play for.
As I have been saying in all the prior dozends of threads about the same or similar topics.

And I say this as someone who has -Fourteen- characters, and would benefit -greatly- from such an feature. But I prefer to play my characters as -individuals-, and have fun hunting down skyshards or lorebooks.

If someone feels they cannot be ars... uhm...bothered to get something on their alt - well, then their alt will just have to do without. If they don't want to do without, then they will just have to play for it. Just like for those levels. That's the very idea behing an game with character progression!

And yeah, it can be annoying to do your daily riding training for half a year. Don't like it? Go buy those crown store riding lessions!
Want something similar for skyshards or lorebooks? Who knows, they might consider it when they think people would actually pay for such, and add lorebook collections and skyshard imbuement scrolls to the crown store at some point.

But don't foolishly expect them to give you for free what they sold to others in the past just because you feel the time spent on it would be "ridicolous".

As it is, I’m never going to collect skyshards on all characters or collect lorebooks to max Mages Guild even a second time. The option to transfer this data should be presented if you’ve already done it once.

Totally agree that mount-training should be account-wide. Or at least have the ability to do all of your characters training by logging in to one character and visiting the stablemaster. I HATE hunting lorebooks and skyshards with a passion but I have to say that without those, getting an alt combat-ready is too easy. And I will rarely ever complain about something being too easy.

seconding the crafting styles being account wide, at a minimum those that were bought with crowns. I don't think horse upgrade should be accountwide, but I do think that once you max out the horse once, all your alts should just be able to buy upgrades on the same day rather then spread across 5-6 months per character. still a gold sink, but no longer a time sync that may potentially discourage you from creating a new alt (so kinda undermines the selling point of making new classes available, but yeah, mount upgrades in crown store is probably why this will never happen). the fact that CP is accountwide is the main reason I even play alts.

I wouldn't say no to account wide titles, after all achievement dyes are already account wide. so while there's the whole argument that "why should your new alt use that maelstrom title if she didn't earn it!" well she is already using the dye and she certainly wasn't the character I unlocked it on either.

and while the lazy butt in me wishes that stats/skillpoints from all the guilds as well as skyshards were available to al my characters, its probably better for the game that they are not.

Only mount upgrades. Lorebooks and Skyshards should stay character specific though. Sure I agree lorebook and skyshard hunting is tedious for those who are altoholics but it needs to stay character specific. People list reasons why already so no need to repeat. Mount only for account-wide!

i'd like an option to buy, for example a magesguild masterbook, which i can put in my house and ready with every alt, to get magesguild to 10 instanly.
Same for skyshards (it should only work IF you have every Skyshard in the basegame).
And something like warriorsguild dummy, which wenn killed, gives you warriorsguild lvl 10.

Mounts once where "accountwide", but mountbound, so your imperial Edition horse was The same for all chars, however, if you fed you imperial horse up to max, and swapped it to a senche for example, the senche was back at 0, since you never fed it.

so when everything is Optional, ppl who're lazy will do it, ppl who think they wana farm it, can still farm it.

Give us an option on character creation for either an account wide unlock or a character specific unlock. This way all are happy and noone is forced to follow a path they don't want to.
