Attempting VMA for the 1st time today

Stage 7 is the hardest for me.

Using a lightning staff means AOE all over the place ... and the damn bugs die way before getting near the obelisks. Blasted bugs.

If you manage to do vet mode, you could try to use normal mode to level up new chars. The gap in difficulty between vet and normal is insane. I did nMA on a level 6 magicka warden a few weeks ago (I have max CP though), the char was level 11 once I was finished, and running around with the "maelstrom arena champion" title at that level feels pretty funny.

If I see someone with "Maelstrom Arena Champion" title, I automatically assume they are bad. Even if it is level 1 character.

For some players that's mission accomplished.

I haven't tried again since that day. I don't have a whole day to play like that very often so I'll try again maybe this Saturday

It really doesn't depend on how good you are but in how smart you are to understand everything because to be honest it's easy as *** once you understand what to do.

Your experience is probably similar to mine. I tried the last boss for hours but could not beat him. It's VERY discouraging, but I won't give up.

That's 6 stage. And yes they leave pulsing sack behind when they die you can stand on top of it and use synergy to throw green goo at the obelisk to clear it. Infernal guardian monster set almost always kills spiders so you need only to clear them once per run (Unless you clear them all, i usually leave one inactive till last boss is there and stun her).

Stage 9 final boss after crystal phase, it happens that the gold ghost spawns close to the boss and i cannot grab it in time. And when you be able to grab all three and try to use the synergy with the crematorial guard behind you getting one shotted, wish that synery was instant

Crashed a few times during last boss. Last time I crashed boss was at 30% and I couldn't log back in and now I must start again from round 1. Typical ZOS =/
