I'm in Cyrodiil about 95% of the time so obviously I rarely see my pets, but the times I am in PVE land I usually just use the Ice Wraith pet or the Dwemer Sphere pet. They remind me of better times in ESO xD

Wonder how pets behave on nightblades while in stealth? Reason I ask is due to one of the funniest things I've seen in an mmo. Gw2 have miniature pets which follow you around. In world vs world a perma stealth build thief, was running around Stonemist castle. Normally not a problem, no one is going to find them. Unfortunately for this player, they forget their miniature pet was following them around and was not in stealth. A group of us just followed the pet and eventually killed the player.
I never have a pet out. Now that we have housing my pets remain at home.
The theolodite hides inside itself when you crouch.lordrichter wrote: »Sometimes it fits the character, sometimes it fits the "lore", and sometimes it is just a pet following my character.
One of my characters always has the monkey tagging along, and will until they start handing out monkeys to everyone in the Crown Store. After that, I will never use it again.
I have a Warden that has a "bear cub in training" in tow because when Wardens were new, "everyone" expected people to pick the bear Ultimate, and I had not.
My main Clockwork City character (furthest into that DLC) has a Dwemer pet to match the general theme of the area. The Loyal Dwarven Sphere, right now. Not the Brassilisk or the Skeevatron, because I see these everywhere.
I have a Khajiit with a cat and an Argonian with a mudcrab. Stereotypical followers, but sterotypes sometimes happen.Wonder how pets behave on nightblades while in stealth? None of my Nightblades would ever have a pet. I don't know if they are seen by others, but they are seen by me, and they don't act stealthy. I even cancel my conjured pets when I do steathy quests, just because I can see them. It is silly for me to be hiding in a shadow while this huge Winged Twighlight flaps her wings and babbles to herself a couple feet away, out in the middle of the room. I'm not looking for immersion, but I have to be in the mindset to do stealth stuff. Besides, ever try to pick a chest when the stupid Familiar is in front of it? They block the interaction.
Pets don't get in the way, but they do stand around an animate the entire time while I am not moving. My main Nightblade would be killing them, were that allowed.
By the way, has anyone noticed that pets arrive first when someone teleports into a wayshrine? Several seconds before the character arrives, the pet will arrive and start doing whatever the pets do.
