I haven't this week. But I went on a buying spree after the clockwork patch killed my build.

I also know people are buying them from me, so someone is buying gear.

Perhaps it's an indictment of the player economy which the transmutation system has made less interesting. Not that I dislike the transmutation system per se.

so the better question is: "have your gear shopping habits changed since introduction of transmutation system?". in which case - my answer is, no they have not. I didn't buy gear often before the system, and I still don't buy it all the often. I've also yet to transmute a single item as the thought of actively grinding for crystals makes me not want to play so I've only hit required 50 couple of days ago and still not sure what to use them for.

While i havent bought anything this week, whatever I can't craft or have someone else craft, I try to buy, and my most recent purchase was 5 pieces for a set, which I bought last week.

Anything over 5k is too pricy for me, I'll even be wary about gear at 5k, but if I can't find it elsewhere, I'll get it. Reluctantly tho.

No, I don't think I have bought any armor this week, and I've never bought any weapons. Unusually for me I found myself collecting some set pieces during the witches event as I spent so much time in delves, and I did fill a couple of slots with guild store purchases then, otherwise I really don't use the guild stores at all. I much prefer to craft my own armor and weapons as completing the research and doing the crafting is all part of the game for me.

I still buy BoE gear from guild stores in the trait I desire, as I want to keep my transmute crystals for BoP gear. And once I've transmuted every BoP gear I need, and have 200 crystals just lying around, I'll still continue to buy BoE gear from traders in the trait that I desire.

Nope. I've got many alts, but I dont change their gear every week, and the majority of weapons I'm using are BoP anyway.

I am selling armor and weapons. Good sets are still good sets and preferred traits still sell. Your still going to get good money for preferred traits, just not stupid good money.

The Transmute Crystal is a grind, its just a different grind with a predictable outcome. Some people hate grinding so they buy stuff.

Not personally, but I've sold quite a few pieces of the new CWC armor sets. People are buying them often enough.

I haven't bought any armor or weapons lately, but I also either use crafted gear or dungeon/trial drops on my characters.

Now that I think about it, all I've been buying lately has been plants... Both furnishings (fabricant plants) and alchemy ingredients.

No, but only because my current characters have all of their gear already. Doesn't mean I don't ever buy it though; I did just buy a few pieces a few weeks ago for my newest alt, and if that alt was only reaching CP160 now I would be shopping now instead. I have more money than time so I prefer to shop rather than farm when possible.
