Perhaps it's an indictment of the player economy which the transmutation system has made less interesting. Not that I dislike the transmutation system per se.

MercyKilling✭✭✭✭✭When I actually played this game, I purchased nothing from guild stores. Ever.I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
3) Difficulty slider.
4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.1 -

The reason I say that is armor/weapon prices and sales have completely tanked since the introduction of the transmutation system. For traders, this kind of sucks. In the bigger picture, rare equipment that is tradeable is nice to have in an MMO. And while it's nice we don't have to grind dungeons as much, we've also lost the amazing feeling of looting a rare weapon that we can sell for a lot of gold. Jewellery is the exception, of course, as it cannot be transmuted.
The average sale prices might even out a little due to scarcity as traders will stop listing armor/weapons because they take so long to sell now, but the volume will be much lower.
I feel like the problem transmutation was meant to fix was the frustrating grind of bind on pickup items, but it's also made bind on equip items very difficult to sell and less interesting to obtain and trade.
I'm not even really complaining, but it's worth lamenting as that was a fun aspect of ESO.

I'd be surprised if I've bought a couple of dozen weapon / armour items since the game launched.Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".
