Yup. There were never stamina morphs, fighters guild was magicka based skills, there was no bonus to disease/poison for stamina classes.Also remember that "stamina build" wasn't a thing when this game was first designed or released, Stamina builds came about because of the communities build development and push for it. This could also be why you're seeing wonky things which don't add up.
Didn't know that...I started when it was released on XB.
The last three years have basically been ZOS trying to rebuild skills and classes to make Stamina viable as a play style.
Fighter's Guild was Stamina based by the stress test betas in January 2014. Was it Magicka based during the closed betas, or is the thread's derpness infectious?0 -

I'm out farming mats and I get some silk and get 8 (you know the x2) it takes half a sec...I run up on a mob, fight it (it takes 2 sec) and get a foul hide...so I'm thinking...why the F does something I have to fight, drop less than some that requires no effort...and I'm like (answering myself) well it just like all the other crap, someone on the team really does have it in for stam...and then I drew a dot or two to some old mechanics that were changed to highlight the long game attack on stamina...its 0300, I'm farming, my wife/kids are asleep, no music on, I'm bored...TA DA!!!
Have you looked at the price of Rubedo leather vs Ancestor silk? TTC Suggested price is 10-12 gold each on Leather and 42-52 gold each on silk. I know the Wrothgar event will change that a bit, but if it is so easy to get silk then sell your silk and buy leather at a rate of 3:1 and don't bother killing anything.
Also, if I look in my inventory I have close to 13k Rubedo Leather and "only" 4k Ancestor Silk... Just saying.Playing since beta...0 -

Just the other day I took my max cp character, running around naked punching to death all the overland bosses in Glenumbra. Needless to say many of the low level characters fighting these Overland bosses would pause for brief moment when I would come charging in buck naked and fists blazing.0 -

I don't think anybody gets your point...
I thought your point is that you think ZoS is biased towards Stamina because Rubedo Leather doesn't drop as readily as you can find Ancestor silk, but my point is that if anything ZoS is biased towards Stamina since Rubedo is actually a lot easier and faster to farm if your desire is to farm it specifically.
If player A goes from node to node and picks up Silk, and player B goes somewhere there are a bunch of wolves and run around in circles gathers and kills them Player B will get Rubedo Leather a lot faster than player A will get Ancestor Silk. Not to mention the fact that Rubedo Leather is dirt cheap to buy, so farming it is pretty much senseless...
Then there is the matter of DPS that has been covered already...

Looks like it works for me, tend to get 2-3 leather....heres another....the x2 wrothgar doesn't work for mobs (i.e. no double leather)
But agree a bit about stamina, has mostly run magic but tried some stamina builds.
It worked very well at low level but then the level scaled sustain went away.
Night mother+ briarheart+krag, all jewelry in restore stamina.
Running random normal dungeons, kill enemy, I'm pretty much out of stamina, all sprints to next target, has to start fight with HA only or run and arriving to late to do any good. On an boss fight it work decent enough, has to get HA canceling right and that work well with DW as its fast.
However farming Vicious Serpent now, might not be bis but should make the stamblade fun to play.
Luckily everybody runs normal trials all the time now, no I tend to heal on templar or DD on sorc for that.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.0 -
