I'm out farming mats and I get some silk and get 8 (you know the x2) it takes half a sec...I run up on a mob, fight it (it takes 2 sec) and get a foul hide...so I'm thinking...why the F does something I have to fight, drop less than some that requires no effort...and I'm like (answering myself) well it just like all the other crap, someone on the team really does have it in for stam...and then I drew a dot or two to some old mechanics that were changed to highlight the long game attack on stamina...its 0300, I'm farming, my wife/kids are asleep, no music on, I'm bored...TA DA!!!
Try playing a mag build for a while and then come and argue about max resource benefits.

Also remember that "stamina build" wasn't a thing when this game was first designed or released, Stamina builds came about because of the communities build development and push for it. This could also be why you're seeing wonky things which don't add up.
Yup. The last three years have basically been ZOS trying to rebuild skills and classes to make Stamina viable as a play style.
When I play a stamina toon I get pissed off that the magic users in my group run, and if I want to keep up with them I have no stamina to fight.
When I play a magicka toon I get pissed off that I don't have enough stamina to break free/dodge roll/block as often as I would like.
