Shadow vs Thief

Valento89
Valento89
Someone explain this to me, The Shadow, with full Legendary Divines, should give 13.7% crit. The Thief should give 9%. Yet when switching to the Shadow I lost over 10% crit, from 68% down to 55%.

9% Crit chance is the base for thief . 7 gold divines is 52.5% increase.

    9(1.525) = 13.68

simple solution, use apprentice or warrior....gives better stats anyways

did you evtl. barswap when comparing the stats?
DW daggers, or Presice weapon on one bar, Something else on other bar may end up in a critrating differnce bigger then expected.

The shadow doesn't give crit. It increases the damage of your crits. The thief however does give crit

Shadow anwsers for critical damage, Thief for critical chance.

If you wanna know the dps gain from Critical Ratio:
Let's say you have 60% critical chance with 80% increased modifier (180% damage of base value)
    (60 * 180)/100 = 108% damage increase

Your base critical modifier is 150% of damage. If you hit for 3000, your crit gonna be 4500.
Things like Minor and Major Force, champion points, or Nightblade/Templar passives give you 10% also. More critical chance, more valuable critical damage is, and vice-versa.
Unluckily, in ESO Warrior and Apprentice flat damage value overdmges shadow mundus stone with balanced stats (50-70% crit).
    Don't ask why.

I was going to say they are different stones. One is damage, one is change to crit. So it seems like he lost the exact right amount of crit chance when switching.
