    This seems to miss the point entirely - the official response from ZOS is to bury the information in a couple of threads (with numerous pages of posts) and mention it in an offhand way during ESO live. Even if this was a stupid way to just try and force everyone to watch ESO Live, that's terrible customer service.

    I understand that they can't get a fix in immediately while the issue is researched, but an official, easily-accessible posting from someone at ZOS (ie Gina) acknowledging the problem and providing updates (along the lines of "Still looking into it") would have gone a long way.

    Patently false. I have had MULTIPLE infinite load screens in PvE on both my One X and original Xbox One. Just because a problem isn't affecting you doesn't mean many others are not having the problem. However i agree that step by step updates will do nothing to solve this faster. Especially when they clearly don't want to/or have any specific information to give us. Early last week I myself was eager for more frequent updates but it's become clear that this isn't going to be a short-term issue (At least a week) so asking for updates over the weekend constantly is pointless.

    I'm happy I have seen a response now and we have got an update on the situation, so thank you for that..(even though the update is pretty much the same as what was said on the first day) 4 days now for console users :)

    Im just as pissed as you are (well may not as pissed) that I can't PvP in Cyrodiil and all and get these loadscreens in PvE areas too, but I just don't know what more else you want from them. Unless there's a fix or are close to a fix then what is the point in an update. I don't think they are going to (or are even allowed) to be specific in terms of technical stuff they are doing. Yes i think it's bad that this problem is still going on and yes I think they need to improve QA and testing for console updates in the future, but I don't see what more you want in terms of a response.

If yes, what was the cause and what is your course of action and time frame. When progress is made, such as releasing to Sony or Microsoft, etc, i want to know. I want assurance its being handled as quickly as possible. I want a forum sticky so i can easily access the information. I want to know if there is restitution.

    What i don't want is "Were doing all we can" which is all we've gotten.

    I PVP'ed 3 to 4 times a week before this patch (XBOX NA). You cannot even go in PVP right now. just nothing but infinite load screens.

    AN entire part of their game on the Xbox console is completely unplayable. I really hope that there is a patch on Tuesday, but I bet there are going to hold it off till the next maint update.

    Alright well i can pretty much guarantee they will not reveal the cause of the problem or proposed solutions. If you are looking for that you aren't gonna get it. I'm not saying you're wrong for wanting that information just that they aren't going to give it to us. I agree that we should get some form of restitution (not money), maybe in the form of a double AP week? We already have our scrolls still...

    You must be thinking they actually care about us console players but they don't lol console is treated terrible compared to the way they handle things on PC we get content later then pc we don't get the same explanations they get or fixes in the same time frame hell console didn't even have text chat at the beginning it's a clear indication they have no idea what they are doing at times it's only because they transported a game that was on pc to console it was delayed a year for a reason because it had to many issues to Begin with for it to be released on console I only wish they would give player's the option to switch to pc with how bad it is right now on console the games probably going to die eventually anyway or at least lose alot of its players

    I‘m not on console thankfully. But I remember when vMoL was broken since March for months and ZOS took 2 months to implement a logger into the client to get more data. Didn’t warrant a patch outside the schedule though - people were told to wait until June. That’s how the company operates.

    You do realize that the 2 week delay is not a ZOS choice but a hoop that Microsoft makes them go through? All updates/patches/and whatnot must go through the cycle of Microsoft screening process before being allowed on their network.

    Example
    Release date 1/1/17 PC
    This software is also released to console, then there is the screening process and whatever else Microsoft is doing with it, then they get the ok to release it on the xbox platform.

    These policies could have changed. I am no expert in the relationship between ZOS and Microsoft. Releasing two weeks earlier than PC could also be a problem.

    I agree the infinite load screens are really bad. Text chat took them a while to get over to console, but I do not believe it was released with any major issues, so I am glad they took their time.

    I do not agree that ZOS is somehow wanting to create something bad or is targeting console players because of some malicious intent. ZOS at the end of the day wants to make money and to do this they need to create a product that people want to play. Is it possible they are just making some blunders here and there, sure. Overall since June 9th 2015 the game on console as improved greatly IMO.

    Everyone just needs to chill on the forum mods a bit. Its hardly their fault. And I am a PvP player on PS4 and yeah its possibly the most I've screamed at my TV for the stupid constant load screens that force me to relog. I just play a different game. They have updated us as everyone asked just its not the update we all wanted.
    We want it fixed yesterday but if they are still figuring it out just be patient.

    Not at all stop all the demanding for immediate fixes and be patient. Te biggest problem is they probably werent aware this would happen as there is no console pts to have it sorted before we all downloaded it. Im not happy about it but will wait for a fix rather than badger the forum staff for thins beyond their control.

    I will chill when the game I have individually given ZOS well over $1000 for since it’s release works like it’s supposed to.
    You may not care how a product you paid for works, but I and 99% of the other people here do.

    If it was a minor nuisance, I wouldn’t be so up in arms. But this is literally a game breaking issue. You can’t even play one aspect of the game at all.

    I didnt say I didnt care I was simply saying chill on the forum staff its not their fault. Everyone crying they wanted an update so a couple of hrs ago they said as much as they could but apparently thats not good enough for some of you. Clearly I'm not one of the entitled generation.

    Never once have i demanded an immediate fix, only immediate communication and transparency.

    You do realize that the 2 week delay is not a ZOS choice but a hoop that Microsoft makes them go through? All updates/patches/and whatnot must go through the cycle of Microsoft screening process before being allowed on their network.

    Release date 1/1/17 PC
    This software is also released to console, then there is the screening process and whatever else Microsoft is doing with it, then they get the ok to release it on the xbox platform.

    You know ZOS is the only company that does a two weeks patch difference between PC and console.It Doesn't take MS 2 weeks to process a patch through cert.You can have a patch pass cert in three days.Its just ZOS being lazy.

    Ive already purchased d2, downloaded warframe, and have been considering broodwar on my pc. So yes, i am. Ginas post last night dictated that.

    She has conveyed they are aware of the problem and they are working on it. She has also conveyed that they hope to have an update on the issue on Monday. I don't know what you were expecting a mod to tell you about the problem but that really is all you need to know until they have a concrete fix.

    They actually conveyed a little bit more information on how they try to find these bugs (like creating hords of bots to emulate a full server). As always the problem in software development is trying to recreate these problems in a test environment and due to the nature of a MMO this can be challenging.

    Still, a pinned post on the general forum and maybe an announcement on the loading screen that they are looking into it would help address a a few concerns of people what the status is. Remember not everyone watches ESO Live (or even knows that the show exists ...) ;-)

    It would be embarrassing, but I think that if ZOS can, they should put in a little update soon that comes up with a notification on your screen if a load screen is never going to end, so you can close app immediately instead of hoping it's just taking long like usual.

    You are on the right track but a failed loading screen right now should obey the inactivity time out and auto kick you from the server. This is why it seems to me that code is hanging in the process of relocating you on the map within the loading screen.

    This is literally more than zos multiple teams have done all weekend.

    I said it in other threads and ill say it here... Everyone is so mad because pvp (and sometimes pve) is unplayable on two out of three platforms right now. I mean that is almost as big of an issue as the game not working at all on 2/3 platforms... Thats why everyone is aggravated, we pay a lot to play. That being said i dont think anyone should be rude to @ZOS_GinaBruno for replying, nothing will ever happen over the weekend, but updates are nice.. I hope its fixed today, or soon i mean we cannot pvp at all.. Only people who have a big controlled zerg to never have to respawn, because they have people to res them, can pvp.

    Taking a break from PVP this month, and hardly notice any problems at all. A few "unusually long load time", but nothing unbearable (you get used to this shiet). Been doing a few trials, farming materials and doing crafting etc. - getting ready for next Vivec campaign. I know Cyrodiil has been completely broken the last few days, so it doesn't seem like I'm missing much.

    Game is on the shelf. Unfortunate, as the game has been such a blast since day one. The constant lackluster expansion releases and minimal feedback from the dev team regarding these problems is just too much to continue to deal with.

    You focus on banning people for a skin exploit but don’t have a care in the world for server performance or unplayable load screens. It’s the final straw until these things get even remotely addressed.
