You are on the right track but a failed loading screen right now should obey the inactivity time out and auto kick you from the server. This is why it seems to me that code is hanging in the process of relocating you on the map within the loading screen.

The code does not hang on relocating you, 99 out of 100 times when you encounter the issue and have to relog you will find yourself at the chosen destination, the code is hanging at the respawn world rendering stage. So the process of relocating is completed it is only after then that it transitions into an infinite loading loop. :)

At what point do we start to talk about compensation for this issue? And before someone responds to me that the TOS does not entitle us to anything for giving us a broken update do download, I am aware of the TOS. However, something as a show of good-faith would be the least they can do. Especially since it this isn't an issue that can be hotfixed if could be weeks before it is solved.

I‘m not on console thankfully. But I remember when vMoL was broken since March for months and ZOS took 2 months to implement a logger into the client to get more data. Didn’t warrant a patch outside the schedule though - people were told to wait until June. That’s how the company operates.

I'll move on of the case. I'm not waiting two months. I've had several friends leave already. Its already effected my play in the future. These were players i played with every day. If this waits months to be resolved they will lose a fortune. I doubt that's what will happen.
I guess your leaving because it's not being fixed anytime soon especially if its need patch and not a hotfix.

Ive already purchased d2, downloaded warframe, and have been considering broodwar on my pc. So yes, i am. Ginas post last night dictated that.

Three 26th or 2nd at its earliest imo
You have more faith than my I'm thinking January. I enjoyed D2 and warframe been having fun playing skyforge recently. Its pretty intresting game abd combat combo based sinilar to BDO.

Lol. Yep. No answers coming today. We aren’t getting a fix for at least another week. And that’s being positive about it.

Screw this. I’m done ZOS. Lost a customer for good with this. No excuse for all of the money that I and thousands of others like me have given you.

We did post in a couple threads about this late last week, and we also discussed it on ESO Live Friday afternoon. We'll try and get an update tomorrow for everyone, but at 10pm on a Sunday, there's nothing more we can say right now that hasn't already been said.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno

I believe that you have completely missed the point of most players frustrations.

Why force us to watch ESO LIVE or dig through the dozens of complaint threads (such as this one) about this issue to see what the company said about the issue? Why has there not been a pinned post made on this topic in which the company acknowledges the issues and states the first round of attempts to solve the issue.

We understand things can take time to fix, sometimes multiple attempts to correct the issue. Most of us (myself at least included) are not asking for a snap of the fingers fix to the situation. We understand that the issue is far more complex than a simple fix. However we in the console community are frustrated that issues such as these are not treated equal. If the problem was PC only or heaven for bid, if Sony/Microsoft caused... we have seen the company reacts many times before. We have all seen at the top of the forum page in flashing text that the "Xbox Live/PSNetwork is experiencing trouble at this time. We will keep you informed on the situation at information became available" plastered on the main page. As a console player, I appreciate this. If I am experiencing issues, I know that I can check the forums and immediately see if there is an issue or if it is my own connection. We have also seen the post when PC servers have issue, "we know of the known issue on PC NA/EU and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible."

So why are console players asked to dig through complaint threads (if the issue is not Microsoft/Sony's fault) to check on their gameplay status???? Again, we are not asking for a quick fix. That would be great but we understand that it is not completely realistic. What we are asking for is communication. Is this really too much to ask?

I hope this isn't taken as an attack. If you have taken it as such and want, go ahead and warn/ban me. I have attempted to be as polite as possible because I do acknowledge that you guys do a good job for the most part day in and day out. However a lot of us from console community are just frustrated that the issue seems to be taken and treated like it is a cosmetic bug/glitch rather than a game interfering issue. This issue is pretty big... in a lot of cases, you cannot use the transit system without facing never ending load times. In PVP, you cannot die or you face never ending load times. This isn't my Valkyn Skoria shoulder piece is not sitting properly on my character. This is a glitch that forces a lot of us (myself included) to simply turn off the game due to it being completely unplayable.

Is it too much to ask to have someone to address this issue in a more easily accessible area such as a pinned topic?? We see the company do this when problems arise on PC... the vAS skin exploit is a great example of the company jumping right on an issue and explained the situation with a pinned topic. Why the difference between platforms?? Can you please explain the difference? Again, if you guys want to warn/ban me for asking this question go ahead.... I tried to be as polite as possible.

Is this happening in PVP areas? I was on about 10 hours this weekend, once in Rawl'Kha, and the rest of the time in Vvardenfell with high population, and it was very smooth on Xbox.

Back in One Tamriel, I dropped my sub when my crafter was stuck in some kind of void in Orsinium after I turned in my writs. It took ZOS almost a week to "rescue" him. Those were also the days when Grahtwood and Elden Root were affectionately called "Crashwood" and "Elden Boot." vMoL was a nightmare. It took 3 months for ZOS to sort it all out.

    I resubbed with Morrowind.

Now were getting this load screen nonsense.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...well, you get the point.

Everyone who is ok with thier response is not in a position of importance in thier work environment irl. If you think "looking into it" is a valid action plan or acceptable communication for something that has ruined the product, you're mistaken. I expect more from companies i deal with, you should too. Believe it or not, the consumer makes your business successful, especially in an industry like gaming.

Lol, you are middle management. No people skills and a sense of entitlement that others live to serve you. Looking into it is how you identify the problem so that you reproduce it and then find the cause and fix it. It is like this is the first time you have come across a software problem.

The process of restarting is obviously breaking the loop and spawning you in the saved destination.
The point is the software should time out and either kick you from the server or abort the map move.
It should not hang and leave you in an infinite loop.
