    Yes, because...
If my car breaks down because of a manufacturing error , and I can still use the stereo, and everything except drive actually, I would expect compensation. It shouldnt be any different here. Take out the fact that this is a video game, ignore that.

This is a product which we paid / pay for, if it is not working as intended or is incomplete or is faulty , there should be a swift response and swift action to compensate the customer and fix the product.

The gaming industry is the only industry where this is acceptable, because it is " just a game ".

It is a product, like any other product, and expecting it to be tested thouroughly and have good QA is not asking too much, it should be the standard.

If I had the money, unfortunately no one that does ever would, I would buy the game rights and I would hire people with an interest in fixing everything and producing quality content and a quality gaming experience. But I am poor as bricks.

For real. It's used to be funny, now it jus annoying. You should definitely take a break from ESO, or maybe even quit for good like you already said that you would do it soo many time before.

WTF does my opinion of receiving compensation for a broken product that I both purchased AND subscribed to have to do with edginess?

Damm, y’all must be getting bored at this point. So now apparently I’m edgy for not sitting well with the truly poor performance being experienced on PS4, and speaking out about it. Gee golly gosh. I bet you actually believe I listen to Linkin Park, and identify with both Shadow the Hedgehog and Sasuke Uchiha. Don’t you? Lmao. :D

Edit: I guess I’m going to go paint all my robes and cowls black now in-game, and turn all my characters into vampires. If you all need me, I’ll be hanging out in misc. Dark Brotherhood spots around Tamriel. *flips emo hair.*

Mandatory sub or not, this request for compensation is ridiculous! It's in the terms of service that the game may not always be available. Maintenance IS REQUIRED! GET A LIFE AND DO SOMETHING ELSE WHEN IT'S DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE!

If you don't like it then stop playing MMO's!

I'm already hopelessly addicted to this game, ZOS has taken the role of the abusive caretaker - Gina taking the role of carrot and Wrobel taking the role of stick - and we know leaving an abusive relationship is surprisingly difficult, I'm scared of change and I'm already dealing with a lot of that right now, and most of my in game friends are in pretty much the same situation so my online support community is directly attached to this game.

Why would ZOS bother fixing anything? They've already won.

And then the game dies because no new content. GG.

I'm sure people can wait 6 months its not the end of the world

Nope. They can't. The year after launch is proof of that when ZOS delivered no new content from October 2014 until Imperial City's release the next year.

They need to stop releasing new content and fix the content they have. A new zone with 24 quests and 2 delves with a tiny trial cannot keep me busy while I can do nothing in Cyrodiil. This game needs an Operation Health style update like Rainbow Six Siege did. Fix the load screens, Fix Cyrodiil, fix the activity finder, Fix mount speed issues while traversing non-flat terrain, fix the chat bugs, the list goes on forever.

They can make content and fix bugs at the same time. They have different teams for both. They aren't going to pull the people that make the art assets or the world building away from doing that just to fix a bug that has nothing to do with them.

Clearly they can't do both at the same time or we wouldn't be in this situation having this conversation now would we?

Clearly they can because the issue regarding load screens is for you console peasants only. It didn't come with the PC release. I guess that's what happens you have to compile code to work on inferior hardware to suit a market that is cannibalising itself with reiterations of the same machines just trying to keep up with what PCs can do

LOL I bet my Xbox One X has more power than your PC.

I can build a pc with that 500 bucks ya spent on that shrim that will outperform said shrim....

ZOS has no obligation to compensate anyone. But it would be a sensible goodwill gesture to players who have not walked away from this mess to offer them a little gift, bonus or something in-game.

To be clear, they don't have to do anything - but a "Oops we're sorry" gift of some sort would probably be appreciated by players who have had to close application multiple times per-session just to keep playing.

Maybe if ZOS had to refund every 1 account with full purchases per day of rampant instability, to a point, then they'd dedicate more time to fixin' it.

At this point, there's about five different ways ESO can fail for me.

I’ve spent a sum total of $1200 on consoles since my first Atari 2600. Actually less, since the 2600 was a gift.

My first pc cost $1500 in 1996 and was completely obsolete when diablo came out. I’ve spent more on graphics cards over the years than I have on all consoles. Forget about drives and ram upgrades.

Yes, a pc can be upgraded and will always offer a more dynamic experience. But my ps4 will be able to play any game that’s release for 4 to 5 years after I bought it. No worry about malware or registry errors.

You lack knowledge then. Long as you know how to tweak, avoid *** sites and other bad sites, and have use of appropriate tools, you never have to worry about malware or registry errors. Also helps to be in a position where you can get parts up to 70 percent off from many manufacturers.

What also helps is knowing how to overclock, and optimize profiles and parts to get the most out of your components so your not replacing parts as often, get more years out if it, and save money.

Sorry mate, ya cant argue against pc master race, especially upper tier.
