Youre dumbfounded at the logic.
So they claim to have 10M accounts, and your dumbfounded as to why they would continue to proceed as per normal? Are you trolling or do you really not get it?
Why would they do anything differently if millions of people log in, play, and pay to play? Im dumbfounded by you being dumbfounded.
10 million accounts registered, meaning people who ever bought the game and set foot in it.
We don't know the retention rate, so its super anomalous. I highly doubt this game has more than a million people playing it across platforms.
How does this relate to OP? Well, easily the number of players means more money, which means better server performance and in game optimization.
When you have a game as badly optimized as than this game, for 3 years, and little communication as to indicating exact popularity, then the reasons more or less kinda come to fold.
10 million copies purchased. Ever wonder why you don't hear about average usuage? It would sound really bad. The company's business model is geared towards the short term, not long term sustained growth, which is also why population has been decreasing.
Casual Population is increasing. Its just that engame playerbase is declining A LOT, which is sad.
We have removed some comments that were non-constructive and only served to bait other users.

Instead of releasing new content and making the game choppier with each update, how about you fix the game you currently have in motion. The lag is so bad it makes it unbearable to play. Take care of the people that are keeping you in business. Y'all obviously don't have the server's to support the current game, so why do y'all think y'all can add more content? I am dumbfounded by the logic here. How about putting some of that money y'all make to actual use and upgrade your servers? That seems like a logical conclusion.
As long as those new eyelashes in the crown store come out on time I am happy.
