I don't like it very much to be honest, but I met several people who did, and it's free, obviously I'm happy to have it in my collection. The appearance is a bit strange, I can't particularly fit it into The Elder Scrolls universe, but it's there now.

Regardless of what your opinion is about the looks of it, ZOS gave everyone a free pet that literally only involves a few clicks to get, nobody should be upset about something they got for free, and absolutely nobody should complain, as there is no reason to do so.

If you like the pet, enjoy using it. If you don't like it, it won't bother you in your collection. Cheers

Very positive: it's free! Who doesn't like free stuff? Good job ZoS, we the players are quite pleased with these little gifts.

Positive: it's a snake. It's one of the coolest pets out there in my opinion. I can see many people using it instead of the other free pets.

Negative: it's a robot. I'm no fan of robots/dwemer/fabricants.

Very negative: the textures. Seriously. When I first previewed it on the CS I couldn't believe my eyes. I had to close it and open it again, maybe it had failed to load properly. But no. It is just like that. The colors are extremely blocky, so much that it looks like the dev responsible for it used Photoshop's bucket tool to plop solid gray, solid yellow, and solid orange on it and call it a job done (but at the very least they stayed within the lines). It's meant to be made of 'brass'. I don't see any brass on it. I see solid gray that looks like plastic, solid orange that looks like braided cloth cut straight from an inmate's outfit, and some solid leathery yellow for the wings. I suspect the console versions are exactly the same, except with a different hue given to the blocks.

Also, the wings. The fact that they had to add the blocky joints makes them clip through themselves all over the place. Huge ungainly cylinders on something whose motion and dynamic is so delicate was a very, very bad idea. I really don't understand what they were thinking. The only reason I can imagine for this fellow to exist as it is it's because it was a rookie dev's first project and they decided to keep it anyway. But since it was far below the other pets' standards, they just gave it away for free.

Would have preferred being able to actually obtain CWC furniture plans in game instead of making them impossible to ever get.

I'm pact all the way so getting a blueberry snek is only mildly rewarding.

I just want to know why it's covered in balls.

For me to get the pet, I'd have to have a separate sub for PS+, but base games can be shared from the main account (my partners with the plus) to other user accounts (I think up to 4), which, don't get me wrong, is awesome, but there hasn't been any need for me to get PS+ for my own account. Honestly, I personally like the brassilisk so much, I would do a month sub if I weren't on such a tight budget right now, it would be worth the 10 bucks to me.

On the one hand it's free, i love that peticular critter from hew's bane and i also love clock work machienes but on the other hand i really wish we could pick the colour and don't know but i think both model and texture seems subpar compared to other clock work robots?
It's free so i don't want to complain but something just seems off with it.
