I don't have it yet. But I'm sure I'll like it. It's free but from photos they seem good looking. I don't really use pets though.

Also I like the free factotum dragonfly from Clockwork City, though it's not a snake, and it's textures are a masterpiece.

I mean I’m not going to pretend it’s not just because it’s free. It’s so hideous that the only thing I can really give them credit for is not trying to sell it. After the inky deer and jackdaw daedrat, I’m quite surprised they didn’t try to regardless.

Normally I'd say free stuff is great regardless of whether it's something you'd normally want or not. (Within reason - a punch in the face is not good even if it's free.)

But I'm not sure I'm going to get this even for free. I already have 16 pets, 8 of which came free/bundled with other things. I like some of those but I feel like the last thing I need is another pet I didn't choose crowding the list and this one...I can't honestly imagine myself ever using it.

I'm not a big fan of mecha/robo pets to begin with - I prefer ones that look like live animals. And this is a very basic model, on PC the texture is extremely poor, especially on the big plastic discs on the wings. Also it's constantly clipping with itself (which is weird because the Sep Adder it's a reskin of doesn't do that).

I'm just very confused about it. It doesn't look like it's part of the game. I don't know if it's the textures or the design or both but it doesn't look very TES clockwork city/industrial style. It reminds me of the halo games

I like free stuff. But I won't use it as I really don't see the point of pets that do no damage.

That said, I would have like the Sanguine Goat, as it did have a use. Alas, I missed that opportunity and I am goatless.

It's kinda cool, and they decided to just give it to us. It may not be for everyone, but don't be disrespectful of a free gift.
