It's certainly a problem that they don't have a PTS for the console versions. On the other hand, given the addition of a new PvE zone on a PTS, how many testers are going to be PvPing in Cyrodiil to see the impact of the PvE update there? That sort of thing really only becomes apparent when the update goes live.
Who knows? Maybe testers would've been in there and found it right away. You were dead on with your first sentence though.Apache_Kid wrote: »

It is entirely possible that this infinite loading screen bug would have only manifested on the live servers so a PTS for consoles might not have caught this bug.

If you don't think the game is worth playing, then don't play it. Suspending or canceling a subscription does nothing to reduce the number of active players online let along the number of accounts opened. Moreover, if you do think the game is worth playing then why not pay to play it and so give the developers the resources with which to improve it?
To be honest, I'm growing tired of the argument "These developers aren't spending the money I'm no longer giving them to improve the game I'm happy to play anyway so long as I can get away with it for free".

BDO is p2w garbage. It's flashy but about as deep a puddle. For all of ESO's faults, it doesn't even come close to the mountain of stink that is that game.

Not true..
You can gain EVETYTHING in BDO through grinding..
Only thing you pay for is cosmetics.. And yes the exp boost sometimes.. But you cn do the same thing here..
BDOs pvp is a lot better than what ESO has become that is for sure...

It absolutely is true. And if you think BDO won't suffer from performance issues on the XBOX as well, you're delusional. It's the nature of the beast.

BDOs pvp is also a crapfest, its completely biased against melee, the male classes are all weaker than the female classes, done so cuz they are pulling the same crap TERA is doing, making female classes more enticing so players would buy their skimpy costumes, their are alot of items in the cash shop, costumes included that would give you an edge over other players, one of which is the ability to purchase outright lands and housing areas without expending more of the ingame resource, allowing you to maximize how many you can get, and now that they got some new tax system in play, the more of these places you own, the more money you get on every period, thus allowing you to be able to buy more and more powerful equipment, and gamble with RNG for the absolute most powerful equipment allowing you to wreck the face of anyone who is using a inferior class and or gear to you.
It is exceedingly rare for a big Korean mmo to go without ANY P2W in some shape or form, the Publisher and Devs of BLESS btw, claim that the game they have been making isnt a KMMORPG, and will cater it to the west, but that is bollocks, if it comes from Korea, and it isnt making enough money, they will put in what they have to, to attract the whales.
Just wait for Pantheon or Scam of Creation.

And to be honest we live/game in a world of entitlement where everyone wants everything to be free and even. This system will not work. Of coarse there has to be some way for companies to make money. The only way around this is Subscription fees.. "I begged ZOS to keep it even on consoles" because I knew we would be where ESO is today without it. The only way to keep people from feeling ptw is for a flat fee that everyone pays..
All I am saying is that other than cosmetics "even those can be bought form other players" in bdo it is still a decent game..

Go ahead and play it then, but when your big bad muscle bound berserker gets wtfpwned by a little 15 year old asian girl riding a wolf as she goes teehee and teabags your corpse while wearing a G-string, all because shes a superior class to you AND outgears you due to her P2W obtained equipment abusing a bad system.....
You'll be back....

It's Also entirely possible that it would've manifested on the PTS if it existed. I don't want to deal in unknowns. What is known is that a console PTS would help in reducing the number of bugs prior to an update.

We on pc have a pts, and trust me, it doesn't help with bugs lolol you can report them until your fingers bleed from typing, and they won't get fixed.
