Or was it the game going from sub to B2P that killed it?
Poor ESO always being killed they should use impen trait and L2P
Because I hear Destiny 2 hasn't done anything which would make them as greedy and money hungry as Zo$.AzraelKrieg wrote: »FloppyTouch wrote: »Didn’t BDO kill eso? Or was it fallout 4 that killed ESO?

I thought it was Destiny. And then Destiny 2

So if anyone here had to guess, which has the highest population? PC? PS4? Xbox?
My guess = PS4.
Why? Because PC players have other MMORPGs to choose from. Xbox players strike me as being more into sports and Call of Doody games.
Is this correct?
Oh god you people! Worse than 2 five year olds fighting about whose dad is better!
Pvp is end game
Pve raids and dungeons are ALSO end game.
Get over yourselves, both are important. Grow up.
Endgame is Pvp, we can all assume this
Pvp is not balanced
The game is casual-friendly (too much)
So yeah, it's going to die

So never did I say that 1 is more important than the other, only that 1 cannot be assumed to be the end game for the whole population.
I love your ad hominem though, a truly distinctive mark of the maturity you preach. /s

Excuse me? The person you quoted also never said that pvp is end game for the entire population, so you are indeed flaming along the eternal battle of " pvp is more important, no pve is more important " whine off. Both of you just stop it.

Pvp is important end game for a lot of people
Pve is important end game for a lot of people.
This is almost as bad as the childish console wars.

Wrong. PvP was , is and always will be a small part of the game. Most players have no interest in it at all (see vigor threads). This game gets carried by the sheer amount of ESO lovers. Real PvP players might move on , but the supporters of the IP will stay (at least until Skyrim online or so).

In this forum ESO dies 3 times a week, at least.
Only reason I know people are leaving or taking "a long brake" from the game (apart from issues in "real life"), is the quality of the game itself. Not "balance", or anything suchlike. But constant game crashes, lag etc. I've NEVER heard anyone complain about "no new content", "unbalanced/not enough classes", "not challenging enough", "not enough furnishings", "same old boring pets" or whatever. It's the playability of the game itself, its very core.
As long as this doesn't improve, it's a great disadvantage for this game. I've tried to make a really good close friend play this with me, he's like "Nah, I know that game is a big mess, so at least not until they get that sorted - sorry". Some people actually laugh when you ask them to start playing, because of this. Seriously.
