Well, the passives and traits, and even set bonuses (I think) werent working when your armor was broken for a very long time.
In cwc they simply changed armor skills so they require wearing at least 5 pieces of armor, so even though you could cast them with broken armor before the patch, now you cant.
I dont see how's that "not intended". Whats the point in wearing broken armor anyway, youre not getting any resistance, and all passives are disabled.

Set Bonuses still work when broken...

Shoudln't we just check our armour/charges before a boss if we know we've died a lot? I mean I am all for easier less stressful gameplay, but this is really getting towards the point of "why even have armour damage".
Also I thought this was always the case, things you learn.
