Came back from a long break since 2014 and decided to jump right in with Deltias old butcher build because it was "fun" but apperantly it is not that great anymore so the only option seems to either to tank or start dual wielding. The problem is that dual wielding seems to be 2x dagger or dagger + axe now a days. Are the other options obsolete?

Also what is currently the best site to find the top end builds for? Seems to be a lot of different ideas out there so i'm not sure where to look now.

Two handed is a viable option, but it doesn't perform as well as dual wield in endgame PVP, simply because Dual Wield has access to an extra set piece, higher focused damage and better defensive options with Blade Cloak.

Been running 2h on my stam sorc for awhile and I'm pulling enough DPS to run vet DLC dungeons with it, but it is still pretty sub par in terms of Trial DPS, though that is more a lack of a Maestrom bow than anything else.

I play a character called "Gives Me Wood Elf" because I am a mature and sensible person.

For dual wield 2 daggers or a dager and an axe is the go to, yes. Maces are pretty obsolete, since their penetration from Twin Blade and Blunt is calculated after all flat penetration/ armour debuffs. So if you have enough penetration to get a bosses armour down to let's say 3000, maces would only give anouther 300 pen. Swords 5% damage modifier suffers the same as any % increase. The more apmlifiers you stack (5% from minor slayer, 8% from minor berserk, etc) the less efficient it becomes.

I guess OP meant PvE. Every stamina build in PvE seem to be same piece of *** now, regardless of class, and it's DW/Bow with 80% skills being completely same from build to build. Difference is in 2-3 skills that may come from a class.

StamDk in PvP is pretty much like playing a guard NPC.
    Thats how boring it became.
Funny thing is, Its also bad at guarding anything.

Maces are better for pvp, and idk how swords do in pve nowadays for stam builds.
