Why no short hair for female chars?

Hello there,
I recently made a character who wears her hair cropped short, because she's lazy and shaves it off every now and then and can't be bothered to keep it shaved off. Her hairstyle looks pretty exactly like this*:

However, for some reason I can't equip this hairstyle on a female. I'm left with the choice between

and

which both don't cut it. **

Why on Nirn can't I use Short Imperial on a female character? Please fix this!

* Screenshots taken from eso fashion for illustration. That is not my character.
** I have seen the upcoming undercut, but as anyone who ever had one of those knows, they combine both the disadvantages of long hair and buzz cut - regular shaving plus regular washing. This is about hair maintenance minimisation!

There is a new style coming the crown store. It's the swept to one side with a buzzcut on the other side look that seems to be fashionable these days

I have seen it, but it wouldn't work out for my character - a long undercut combines the disadvantages of long hair and a buzz cut, hair washing and maintenance plus regular shaves. It's about having hair and said hair being as low maintenance as it can get.

Short hair? I'd ask why the female characters are usually more dominant and fearless than the male ones are. Every time you turn around, you're hearing an NPC tell you that you must talk to their great leader, and SHE is right over there. Meanwhile, this male character is hiding from a weenie little imp in a most cowardly manner, but brags how he was just about to be unmerciful toward the "monsters" when you showed up and took care of it for him. It's like getting hit in the face with a pie every few minutes.

Oh ok, so we get it now. You're complaining that an extremely specific style of hair cut is not available for your made up character you believe is real and role play? Should there be more hair styles sure, maybe even just make 10 hairstyles and either male or female can use them whatever, but to come and say there is nothing then say oh I know about this new one coming but it isn't what my character would want is just complaining for the sake of complaining.

Sure my character is real. A real character. Also, I am not complaining about that, I'm pointing out that the suggested alternative is no solution for my problem, since it's not an "I cut my hair short because I'm too lazy to take care of it"-hairstyle, but rather a fashion statement.

I am complaining that I can't give a female character short hair. I kinda get why they don't want women to wear "Balding but distinguished", but there is absolutely no reason why the Imperial short hair shouldn't be unisex.
