if they want to maintain any kind of a player base.

Both of us are ex-WoW players, I played from just before Cataclysm till Pandaria and he played from vanilla till Pandaria. As always with the new expansion Blizzard tries very hard to implement lots of changes, such as level scaling, HOWEVER, the game is very old now. If it was a World of Warcraft 2 that was being presented, we would be back in a heartbeat, however, no matter what you do, an old engine remains an old engine. WoW is nice memories, but nothing else anymore. I don't think you'll see a mass exodus for it.

Lol. Your joking right? It always has been and always will be the most popular mmorpg. No hate to ESO, I love the game. Just saying they need to step it up
Honestly I have tried to balance multiple MMO games before and it's not easy.Ilithyania wrote: »WoW, SWTOR, ESO

Couple of years ago I would've jumped straight in but now the game is just too old and I have no interest in getting back to it.
Even though vanilla WoW was amazing back then, it wouldn't be the same anymore.
Nostalgia is nice and all but I'll pass, thank you.
With the MASSIVE announcement from Blizzcon this weekend, the next ESO chapter needs to be enormous if they want to maintain any kind of a player base. I'm getting tired of this 'new content' that's always the same thing; new zone, motifs, quests, dungeons, maybe a trial, etc. They need to add some content that lasts more than a couple weeks. I am definitely going back to WoW, hope to return to ESO if they ever give me a reason to
