And if they are so anti-exploit, why go to the trouble to cut the entire fight with St. Felms out of the video? Why not simply show everyone in which state you cleared it? Feeling ashamed perhaps? Who knows.

theamazingx✭✭✭✭In case there’s anyone here telling themselves that there’s no way this could have been handled without this level of criticism, here’s how to completely fix the post:
-add all the things you admitted once backed into a corner: the bug was there, you knew it was there, it seems to be what allowed you to get the speedrun, and of course, the sentiment that this is only a step on the way to getting the speedrun without the bug.
Bit late now, though. Sure, you’d still have the salty “why does it matter is just a game why don’t you play like I play” comments, but every thread does.
It’s just a game of course, no one has to take it seriously, but a “world first” post is going to draw the attention of those who do.3 -

- I was thinking... Leaderboards should get a small facelift and include how fast a trial was beaten and the date and time when it was cleared as well.
- On PTS trials should be nerfed just like vMOL. On top of that they should be internally tested to make sure the mechanics works as intended.
- OR trials should be released 2-4 weeks after a major patch.
- Also trials sholdn't always be locked behind a DLC / EP.0 -

Have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe people stopped playing trials because it was being balanced around pvp?
Maybe also because it is not balanced around anything(neither pvp or pve), it is just kinda random changes every 3-6 month independent of player feedback.

Yes they might not be able to achieve the speedrun with the current time if boss isn't bugged but also they can eventually achieve it since they are working on. Do I call it legit? Yes, assuming there was no exploiting which I believe is the case since I know these guys

Would other guilds have cleared it if they tried? Yes they could if they put time into it specially in its current state. Why didn't they? I guess focusing on something else like Boss+2 HM or whatever, not like all these guilds didn't attempt speed run cuz boss is bugged.

Boss totally skipped his explosion for w/e reason and we continued killing him, if we didn't wipe there we probably got super fast kill and maybe helped us for crazy score. And I don't think we would have stopped there just cuz it was bugged. As long as we did not trigger it then not our fault
Main point is, if for whatever reason you don't like some people you can not just diminish whatever they achieved by calling for exploit or w/e. No need to throw your salt/hate here.

People knew about the boss not teleporting 2-3 hours before we completed the speedrun, and the players I talk to about it thought as well it was a part of the patch that was that day. The lil children were so happy about beating the easiest vTrial. Was so cute.Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.1 -

Well I wouldn't feel good with myself to post Achievment on the day bug lands without even mentioning it. It was like "many have tried, but we are the first". Yes, but they tried under other condition.
Just feel alil sport, challenge and respect yourself. If you do this for a small amount you won't be capable to open such thread.2 -

It's usually because we're the ones mainly coming up with tactics when it comes to trials, and we're tired of people just looking at our videos, copy pasting our tactics without having to put any effort into actually being innovative.

INHUMANENATION✭✭✭Dragon's Crest was the first Swift Mercy clear and it's not their fault things are messed up. Heck I even feel bad for Zos here as well. Surely they didn't want their new trials first speed run to be mired in controversy.
Once it's fixed I'm sure we will hear from a guild that gets the speed run w/things operating as intended but you all are still the world's first Swift mercy.
W/out trying to lessen the achievement. I do think it's kind of the perfect ending for a month that has seen all kinds of issues in ESO.
Here's to a better December to end what I thought was actually a really fun year of Scrolling!1
