Since it’s took you a few years to realise dungeons are too hard for certain levels maybe in another few years you let people finish quests within them when rest of group leaves.
Agreed, It's incredibly annoying when there's a long end-of-dungeon quest finishing sequence and the rest of the group leaves before you can trigger the end-quest conversation/reward.
I really don't think the timer should kick you out if everyone else leaves but you don't It should be on people to remove themselves after the "Activity Completed" trigger has taken effect.

It isn't an issue if the group leaves, that will just pass crown to whoever is left
You only get kicked if the group disbands.
So as a pro tip, you type in chat, "Hey guys, need to do the quest for this one" and unless you are playing with awful people they will let you complete it.
As long as you aren't someone who reads every single line of dialogue out loud, and generally slows things down.

I came back recently and wanted to see the new dungeons...when I mean see I mean fully experience what the story is about. Went for bloodroot. The final outcome...? We just killed 4-5 bosses. I still don't know what the story is behind that dungeon lol. I understand you can't have people just waiting on you for that if they are there just for the pledge....
What can we do about? Introduce a new tier, basic, on dungeons. Story mode. This will allow players to actually experience the story of the dungeons. The difficulty should be tweaked down since it will be for solo purposes. The rewards, well the story itself is a reward. Anything else in addition could include ornate items and some sort of a reward feeling in the end.

I think this is a brilliant idea, it doesn't effect any hardcore Dungeon-players, anyone doing pledges, or farming for gear, yet those that want to immerse themselves into the story line of a dungeon don't feel rushed in fear of being kicked.
