I generally spend my crowns on items I want or feel will make my account better, if a series of crates has enough item I want in them I will buy one or two packs for a broad range of those items and get the last couple with any gems (I never gamble for the big items).
Mostly these days I just buy Dunmer themed items or ones which I think make my characters look better than they currently do.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

Valykc✭✭✭✭✭I’ve probably bought everything on this list but if it was “What have you collectively spent the most money on (in terms of cost of crowns for number or quality of item), it’s race change, hands down. 3k crowns to change once and I have build A.D.D. So I’m always switching between stamina and Magicka, and tank, dps, Healer, as well as PvP or PvE, all because I’m too lazy to level up alts for the classes lol.1 -

Delgent✭✭✭Everything except DLCs (ESO+) and crates. Before crates, when there was better stuff available in the crown store, I spent much more than I do now.
I still hate that I don't have a wizard hat. That was the one time I almost caved on crates, but then my resolve hardened, to the point that I don't even pay attention to the crate seasons anymore.
If they want my money, they'll give me something worth spending it on; if not, it's just pixels, I'll continue to happily play without new shinies

✭Could not select more than one option, so I picked "other". So far I bought:
- a few costumes, hairstyles, the base-game adornments kit, the basegame hairstyles kit, a couple of tiaras for my rich Khajiit.
- an appearance change for a character which I wanted to makeover body-wise (she's put on some weight)
- upgrades: port-a-banker and port-a-merchant
- mounts: the very first spotted guar, the basic lion, and the time-limited black senche
- pets: grey cat, brown cat, black cat, basic nixad, blue nixad, a small guar, and a bantam guar. Even if I never have pets out.
- motifs: grim harlequin and frostcaster
- character slots, the more the merrier.
I always subscribe, so I don't buy DLC. And my favourite homes are tiny so in-game gold is all I need. I also don't gamble on crates, so right now I have 17.5k crowns sitting there waiting for the next showcase.
Edit: also bought the Dwemer construction kit, I really wanted the book which came with it and it was not expensive. But kinda regretted that purchase later. Oh well.Edited by Khenarthi on October 30, 2017 4:58PMPC-EU1 -

But yeah, the vast majority of my crowns go on new homes and furnishings.
I also buy inventory and bank upgrades, the occasional mount, and have bought a banker and a one-off appearance token.
Never, ever crates.
ESO+ so don't buy DLCs.2
