I don't mind the new warden class, however ai really don't see the point of implementing new classes anymore. If ZOS want to add flavor, spellcrafting and new world skill lines are the way to go.

ESO is not WOW. While WOW having 10+ races and classes, ESO is different and should not just go with the flow.
1.races. 10 races in tamriel is the tradition, I don't think I need to speak more against new races ideas, from both lore and gameplay perspectives we don't need any new races.

2.Classes. The most significant differences between ESO and WOW classes are:
First, WOW classes (with specialization)are mostly designed for fitting one role. while many complain about ESO not being “play how you want”, ESO classes are still more versatile than WOW's. Being versatile means each class is able to perform good enough with any role as long as not in vet hard mode, so more classes are not needed considering each ESO class can actually have very different play style.
Second, the existence of “common skill lines” . Skill lines that all character shares in ESO, like weapon or guild skill lines, makes the whole versatile thing easier. Combine with common skill lines, if one class want to out perform others in a role, only few active abilities and suitable passives are needed. Which means, in order to make a good class, they need to be unique about sth. However with no massive combat system changing, the “unique factor” can only be so many, and if you force it, you will have to take sth from old classes and give it to new class (like major mending of templar given to warden)

So, my conclusion is that ESO really don't need new classes and races right now, if ZOS really want to add in flavour, adding spellcraft and world skill lines that we can only choose one (vamp/werewolf etc)are the solution, not new classes.

Here is hope ZOS don't add another new class with upcomong chapter :)

I want the class system dismantled.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

I thought about this too. Especially if spellcraft ever comes out dismantle class system seems to be the only way to do it right.

However I doubt ZOS will do such thing in few years tho. It's too massive and not to mention Warden is still new.

More classes = more of a struggle balancing, more work from ZoS that will take away from actual content and development/improvement of the existing classes and skill lines...

I'd rather the dev time went into re-vamping the lacklustre general skill lines like soul magic, Undaunted, Mages/Fighters guild tbh.

Maybe then re-visit the idea in a couple of years to freshen things up then.

Honestly tho I don't like adding new classes, I cannot deny something dardic is interesting.

Still something like "Aedra Voicer" as world skill line providing utilities (especially as stam users) sounds cool enough and will make stam healer possible :)

Edit: Or even, let us learn "the way of the voice" like Ufric...

Yup which is why I just edited my previous quote :p

And well Thuum is not sth dragonborn-only skill, so who knows, we might see the previous generation of grey beard etc

Sadly,I highly doubt they'd let us have the Voice. We aren't blessed by Akatosh or Kyne

That's their own fault for not balancing PvP and PvE separately. They need to make a system where our skills affect other players differently than they affect NPCs.

Bards might be a support class either on PVP or PVE. And Acrobats another kind of assassins, maybe without cloak, I don't know, just coming up with some ideas.

What you are describing there is basically doubling the workload and complexity of the entire system...

They have stated that the want it simple... that you learn to use a skill once and then know how it will behave, not basically having two versions for each individual skill.

While I do kind of agree with the ideology behind having PvE and PvP a bit separate in some ways, I don't think that a separate set of skills is the way to go... for the same reason I mention above, the workload would be v v high and that would mean other stuff gets neglected. Plus I do agree with them, its too complex to have them work in different ways depending on who you target.

Btw, ESO is not the game about classes (as another mmos). There is flexible system of character development. Another class skill lines (read classes) will not change the game much (as it was with wardens) because existing classes haven't access to them. But adding new (common) skill lines affects everyone, so it's more valuable in this concept.

    No.

I want to see stuff that can be useful for -every- character, no matter if newly made or played since launch!

Thus I want expansion options for the axisting classes instead of them adding new ones...

...like the class morph idea I occasionally mention: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/369966/class-morph-idea-mk-ii

    ...or additional weapon skills: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/371862/additional-weapon-skill-ideas-mk-ii

...or more guild skill lines and DLCs: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/306759/additional-guild-ideas

...or world skill lines, or stuff like that anyhow!

But things -everyone- can enjoy! Things every character can get. Things that won't vex players who had been playing for a long time for having to make character number fifteen to experience! Or for finding it would have been so much better for one of their existing characters backstory if they could refit it...

I want to see both new classes and new skill lines. It's important to note that a new class should not be a re-skin. It should bring its own unique way of playing. And I do believe that there are many more different classes that could fit into this game (dancers, acrobats, bards, illusionists (See GW2 mesmer), engineers (if apostles in clockwork city can build mechanised animals, surely a class that uses machines to fight for them wouldn't be that much outside the bounds of reality?)...)

I realise that players would rather have new things on their main than having to roll an alt, but the way that I see it, extra choice when a new player is entering the game, or when you're bored is always good.

No classes at all, just skill lines with certain restrictions. And then you may add new skill lines here and there.

I’m mixed on this topic, I would like new classes IF they have unique play styles. I don’t hate Warden but if you think about it a lot of the abilities are reskins. I’m not happy with the class in its current form.
What I do want to see is all skill lines expanded on, maybe a future 1T style update can do that. Balance each trees between DPS, tank and healing, more stam morphs, vampire/ww/soul magic/guilds could all be expanded on. Giving weapons ulti was a step in the right direction in terms of variety. Obviously I can see that my idea would require more balancing but I honestly think it would be worth it.

I can see spellcrafting being really unbalanced, and it will be boring when ONE SORC thinks of the best spell and tells everyone to make it and use it and the rest of the spells you come up with are pointless because there will be something way better. Also, spell crafting only seems to benefit magicka builds, unless of course the spellcrafting system allowed you to create stamina abilities as well.

I personally think that ZOS should create some new class abilities (say 3 per class ability). It would be done by ZOS and the balancing would be fair then.

I voted "Other", because I don't really care one way or the other if Zeni adds in any more Classes or not.

I find that I really only enjoy the Templar and Sorcerer Classes, and that stems from a long, long history of running "Wizard" classes in pretty much every MMORPG and table-top RPG that I've ever played.

I just can't get into the "beat stick" melee Classes or Rogue Classes.

I like my Wizards/Mages/Magic-Users, and so that's all I ever play.

I like to rain damage down by the freakin' bucketful from a distance (Sorcerer); and if I have to get up close and personal, I like to knock my enemies down by a large margin from a distance first, then finish with potent Magical attacks from up close that ensures I'm not in a protracted melee battle (Templar).

So even if they did add in new Classes in the future, I doubt any of them will be designed to my liking, so that leads directly to my ambivalence about any new Classes.

We told ZoS abou the imbalance a new class was going to create. They never heard and came out with that Frankenstein monster. And to make it appealing, they just nerfed all the other classes (I see a pattern there)

I like the idea of skill lines instead of classes, but the problem is that some skill lines will never be used. Currently there are skill lines not used at all, and I believe everyone would have NBs shadow up
