I think people are starting to realize that the trait grind was never going to go away, it was just shifted to other activities.

If everyone thinks this grind is bad, wait until they introduce the transmog system...

Want to change the look of your gear whenever you want? Sure, just grind dungeons for the rest of your life to get whatever style converter thingy they come up with.

I will laugh so hard at all these people who as of now are saying the transmutes crystals are fine, you all know who you are

There is a major difference in 'fine' and 'terrible', bud. Most of the people that don't like transmutation didn't or don't understand their purpose. It isn't supposed to completely erase the need to do content and play the game entirely.

and some other people get the max amount, so its working as intended

***. I dunno a single person whos gotten the max amount from a gold geode

Seems so easy for pvpers to get them and doesn't even take about a quarter of the time of a daily dungeon, and yet all the dungeons i've ran first time every day all gave 1 crystal each.

You keep spreading this crap with out any proof at all, you don't even PvP.
How do you know how long it takes to earn in PvP vs doing dungeons?
    Oh yeah I heard...

No, but this at least guarantees you will get what you want eventually. The problem is if each daily dropped 1000 people would be running around in perfect gear in days.

With this it will still take time and still makes it so enough people have to use the finder. If everybody could just have perfect gear tomorrow nobody would use the finder which would make it even more frustrating for people that don't run with guilds.

At the same time, if people weren’t too precious to run with guilds, and there are plenty who cater to newbies out there, then we wouldn’t need a stupid finder.

To me; if you’re too stubborn to join a guild and work together - you get what you get.

I got all my end game gears solo or by pugging 99% of the time, and that is precisely why I play ESO. This game allows me to get everything I want without having to join a guild. Ingame guilds are riddled with elitists and I'm more than happy to not interact with them. Sure pugs have elitists too, but I can always kick them or leave myself without running into drama. I'm only in trade guilds to sell stuff. As for the rest, I prefer to do things on my own.

First I didn’t mean to insult anyone but...
How are you in end game trials with no guild? Just pugging?

What is the point of end game gear if you do nothing with it but run around Elden Hollow?

Unless you’re solo PVP ganker or just to VMA all the time - end game gear is kinda moot.

Most guilds are lovely. A few who are serious raiders are serious. There’s jerks everywhere.

Just a bunch of complainers... Smh. Try going 1000+ vMA runs without it dropping the weapon you want, like some people have. Then comeback and realize what the transmutation system is for. It might not be perfect, but nothing can ever be. Be happy

They better not ruin the transmog system by making it require something as rare as that stupid dust I still have found zero of. I don't know why I hadn't considered this as a possibility before, now I'm sad.

Unfortunately I could see them making it extremely rare...

The only thing i can hope for is that since it will be cosmetic only, not actually effecting anything, it may be a bit more common.

It's Zo$ though and they will surely find a way to bleed us dry of every penny we have.

They'll make it hard to obtain in game, extremely rare. Then place it on the crown store for 1000 crowns per item change crystal or whatever they make it.

Heres to hoping they won't, but I'm placing my money on Zo$ placing it on the crown store as the only true viable option to obtain.

So my guild ran each of the normal trials except HoF twice last night, switching toons for the second run. That was 50 right there. Easy stuff.

I do hope that ZOS has thought through all the economy issue before implementing this transmutation idea.
Stations already available in most of the guild houses i.e guild leaders houses, available for everyone not only eso plus players. Grind for special sets is over. Sales on sets in guild stores is over. Special traits demanded on the market no longer sale in high prices if any. If we can find any trashy item and transform it into divine or infused without the need of other people. Well I still hope it works much better tha I see it and trading economy will not fall apart.
