...Lastly, we’ve seen some of you mention that the damage from Radiant Destruction and Biting Jabs appears to be incorrect. We’re digging into this, and will let you all if we need additional information.

Thanks to everyone for hopping on the PTS and testing out these changes! Please continue to post feedback as you’re able.

Zos this was addressed months ago y'all fixed magblade and sorc. This needs looked at asap its affecting gameplay with our 2 main abilities working incorrectly.

What's a Templar? Is that some kind of new Sorcerer build?

Becouse templars are Healing NPCs. You should not have offensive abilities, only heals that do the same amout as the Warden Tree ultimate

Nah, I have this special Nightblade ability where this gold aura of healing goes off every time I am low on health. The "healer" is just standing there doing /wave or something with their hand. *shrugs*

Joking aside, I normally have Warden healers in groups now because my friends enjoy Warden so much. Buggy skills suck though, I hope ZOS has the fixes coming soon.

How bout an update from ZOS, whats the worst that can happen?

Have you confirmed the issue? If so do you have an idea of the problem? Whats the eta and priority of fixing it?

    What is a communications vacuum?

My main issue with my warden healer is the low dps :)
Templar does well enough dps for an healer.
No don't use her for DD, main issue is that I don't know to use her as DD in dungeons :)

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

OK i got a question , i have not played my healer in a long time so last night i dusted him off and off i went and found something strange ( yes im aware of the nerfs ect ect) but what i did find fricken annoying is that if im running away from the ads or red and i use breath of life my character stops in the middle of the run dose breath of life and then i can run again wtf? is this how is supposed to be ? he stops to casts the spell ? if this is the case that is stupid.

I kept on using it and and running and sometimes i can run normally and cast it in the middle of moving and sometimes he stops like stupid to cast the spell and then dies because of the damage it received.

    Can somebody explain this ?

With my 52k Magicka I’ve been accused of that. Honestly guys if you’re having issues with DPS just take off your proc and stack as much Magicka as you can. It’ll be up to you to figure out how to survive wearing paper but I’ve managed. It’s not impossible.

This really has nothing to do with whether it is doing what DPS or burst or however much magicka is built up. There is an actual bug in how these abilities are scaling.

They could fix sweeps by rolling the 140% damage bonus into the base damage for the closest enemy, and then doing 42% damage (the inverse of the 140%) to all others in the AoE. This way it will not be an additive bonus anymore and they don't have to worry about exempting it from the new additive rules.

RD they just have to fix like the other executes.

The additive rules are crap. Tooltips state that you get a 5% increase from Minor Slayer (or any other % bonus) and you end up with only about 4% in the end (usually less). They just have to make everything multiplicative. The only problem would be the amount of damage some things will be doing.

I remember when you posted about this build and was intrigued so I got the specifics and tried it out. It works great if you're one of those people who likes to hang around and squirrel away to try to draw suckers off by themselves to places with LOS escapes so you can either get a quick kill 1v1 or run around a rock or tree to escape and heal if your opponent survives your opening burst and starts fighting back but if you're trying to take keeps/resources where you'll face multiple enemies in the open so your faction can actually compete it's utter garbage. Not even NB's have to go with such extremely fragile builds to get kills; but at least if they do they have a chance to cloak and escape when outnumbered.

Templar sweeps and radiant has been bugged since Morrowind. According to a guildmate of mine lightning heavy attacks has been superior damage since One Tamriel on many builds.

Ouch. Explains why my magplar has been struggling though.

For radiant opression we lost nearly 33% damage and for puncturing sweep something around 15-20% just with feeling. The true numbers are maybe a bit lower, but its true, that heavy attacks deal more damage, then puncturing sweep on offbalanced targets...

Funny you say that because I’ve found the opposite. Also I always have an invisibly plus speed potion equipped when off the beaten path. Give that a try.

I have been running with speed plus immovable on my heavy Templar and it is very nice to have the mobility, but even with 40K magic and 3500 SD buffed plus around 11500 penetration my sweeps feel weak since it's still hard to land them against a competent opponent who just moves through you when you try to face up to target them and the stuns available to the class are all so short that doesn't really help either. I truthfully think my Templar is going on the shelf for awhile as I just finished leveling and gearing my first Sorc and the combination of strong defense from 24K worth of shields, mobility from streak, and crazy high burst is just too much fun. My crushing shock is hitting for 5K+ per cast on heavy armor wearers and 7-12K on medium and light! From the safety of 28M even. It's so easy to kill most players with curse and couple of crushing shocks and then a procced frag and maybe a mages wrath if the execute is even needed. I've been just amazed at how quickly I can burst people compared to my Templar. It's not the extra penetration from light armor either since my Fire staff is decisive on the Sorc and I run 1H sharpened S&B with Elemental drain on my Templar which means they come out about even. The only advantage the Templar has is that his AOE's and multi target reflective light that make him an AP machine in group fights.
