Can't join Guilds

    Same problem. Left a guild on Sunday leaving one slot. Received invite yesterday after patch and got the same message, that I needed to leave a guild. The interface will not accept the 5th guild. I filed a bug report: 171025-00097 .

    As an aside, on your help interface to send a bug report, there is a checkbox to add a screenshot. I could not find a way to add one. No buttons or drop down menus at all. Did I miss something or is something missing?

    I reported it last night about it happening to me. This morning repaired game restarted computer and disabled all addons, still didn't allow me to join a fifth guild. I even loaded the game up on my laptop that has 0 addons installed and it still wouldn't me to join a fifth guild.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno This is just as important if not more important that fixing French localization, this needs to be fixed ASAP. Some of us who take running our guilds very seriously are being affected by this. I've had to turn away at least 20 people in the past two days because they can't join. This is absurd that this is not being addressed.

    The French localization issue was easy to pinpoint and fix; this is much more difficult. We want to get this fixed as quickly as you do, and will push out a fix as soon as we're able.

    Been recruiting for my guild since clockwork. And this bug is constantly happening to people who want invites. I think it's 100% of the time to people who want to join the fifth guild.

    This has also been a problem for me. I have been trying to recruit to my guild but it seems as though people who are in 4 guilds cannot accept the invite or if they do accept it, it doesn't go through. Please fix this ASAP. I've worked very hard to organize and create this guild and this is really impeding our growth. :(

    None of the things that you mention has fixed the problem.  This is an MMORPG game and "the known issue" is a little bigger then something that should be "resolved in a future update".  I have been a member and active (paying) since the game launched.  This "known issue" needs to be addressed and moved to an urgent matter.  I am not one to give threats; however, this pulls away from the fabric of a MMORPG game.  Glitches and bugs I know happen, but honestly the response of being "resolved in a future update" is a copout and as a paying customer makes be feel unvalued and unappreciated.  I would like a reply back with a more definitive response along with a time table of when this be fixed ----as an urgent matter.

    This is a known issue that will be resolved in a future update. To stay updated on this matter, please visit the official forum post here.

    Check for any outstanding guild invitations that you have not declined or accepted.
    •  •  Decline these or accept them.
    •  Remove all outstanding guild requests from your notifications.
    •  Type /reloadui in the chat window if on PC/Mac, or if on console, log out and back in again

    On my account I am currently in 4 guilds; however, when I get invited to join another it says that I need to drop a guild. I should not have too drop a guild if I am only in 4 guilds. Does my account have a glitch or issue going on with it?????

    I'm in 3 guilds and couldn't join a 4th so maybe no one can add a new guild?

    Got same bug...

    Must be hard to debug something like this..

    } else
    {

    };

    Although my bet is on that the guild you leave is somehow not getting deleted from players database entries and is still being counted.. It took a good 20+ seconds when I clicked leave guild yesterday before the game responded and showed the guild being removed..
    But what do I know, I'm no Zenimax developer

    This should definitely be a priority. Recruitment in guilds is key. That is how the economy runs and how most trials are run - through guilds.

    It only seems to have happened since the clockwork patch.

    Gonna throw my voice in the masses and say it's happening to me too. Would appreciate a fix ASAP. (And no, it's not my PC hardware, which ZoS loves to blame when I send in a ticket)

    Hi @Zenny - shouldn't you at least tell people not to drop their 5th guild in the hope of joining a different one for now ???
    Maybe put up the announcement in the same box as the cr$wn store items when logging on?

    Last comment I received from Zenimax is that they’re actively working on it, but at THAT point(maybe it has changed since) was it would probably not be fixed by Monday maintenance

    i've had the same issue, submitted tickets....

    does anyone know.... would this work? : with 4/5, cant join no matter what. if i quit another, and had 3/5, would i be able to join a 4th and then possibly a 5th if no other invites were sitting and waiting in my notifications? (which could 'technically take up a guild slot')... im not willing to try this. but im just wondering if there is some ghetto rigged work-around for this problem..... or is it just = once u have less than 5 right now, there is absolutely no way to get 5 again.

    Yep, this is definitely having an impact on my ability to keep my guild running smoothly. Recruiting sucks when you can't reliably add people.

    Am surprised more Guild masters are not speaking up about this - seeing all my guilds dropping in number after idle users were removed... this is killing the whole guild selling economy
