Is this a bug? NB's Teleport Strike/Ambush skill isn't a charge ability

Test a build with Tormentor set, Ambush doesn't activate the last bonus which taunt the target and further testing it doesn't give the defense bonus. However this forum earlier posting suggest otherwise.

Anyway if the above is true and correct, this set is really of limited usage

It's more of a blink than a charge.

Charge skills are things like Crit Rush and Shiel Charge.

It would be great if ZOS was more clear about how skills are defined. Tooltips in their current state aren't detailed enough and it leads to confusion.

For example, Flurry, for whatever reason, isn't considered a melee attack (despite the animation being multiple stabs from melee weapons).

Tooltips something like Path of Exile will be most excellent, all skills are defined by type like attack, spell, projectiles, channel, etc.

Ive tested tormentor and it seems that "charge abilities" is only refering to ones with "charge" in the name. 3 skills in the game trigger it. Shield charge, crit charge, and the templar charge (the aoe morph only taunts the initial target)

Ambush, dragon leap, WW jump, and silver leash do not work with it

Flurry is considered a DoT effect and works wonders with Valkyn Skoria set, and the cp-thingy that increases DoT damage. Wich means Selene's set is useless :(

Yes, but why isn't it a DoT and a melee attack like templars jabs? There are skills considered melee + physical + direct, so this should be melee + physical + channel/DoT.

The only problem with that is, they can’t claim this or that is a bug. Because we can clearly see in the tooltip what should and should not be affecting it.
