Now this can be an bug as in drop chance is higher than expected, it might also be ZoS way to get more players to PvP.

I noticed that new characters got lots of reward for the worthy then I leveled pvp on them, far more than caracters with fully leveled pvp skill lines. so leveling pvp noob characters might work well
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.0 -

Yesterday I did a couple of pledges, spent a little time in PVP, and finished the night with a run through vHRC. I got 26 crystals by the end of the night.
Of course, I would have received far fewer crystals if I had spent the evening in solo PVE questing. But that's only fair, since traits are virtually irrelevant for solo PVE questing.7-day PVP campaign regular 2016-2019, Flawless Conqueror. MagDK/stamplar/stamwarden/mageblade. ✭✭✭✭✭Last night I ran with 4 people to check this all out. We did a random normal, swapped characters, random vet, normal pledge, vet pledge and vet HM pledge. Out of the dungeons we did, not a single person in the group received anything from a final boss.
Normal Undaunted Pledge - Fine (Green) Transmutation Geode which always gives 1 crystal
Veteran Undaunted Pledge - Superior (Blue) Uncracked Transmutation Geode which can give 1-3 crystals
Veteran Undaunted Pledge Hard Mode - Epic (Purple) Uncracked Transmutation Geode which can give 1-10 crystals
Your first completed random dungeon through the Grouping Tool per day (per character) (normal or veteran) - Fine (Green) Transmutation Geode which always gives 1 crystal
[edit] I'm thinking I'm going to need to learn how to PvP to get more at once. Once I've retraited my main items I think the system will be fine, as you'll slowly get items to retrait so will have built up a stock of crystals. Just do you you normally do and see what you get. That’s how the system is designed. Posting in the forums is one of the only things that won’t get you any crystals.0 -

Well in hindsight I realize my plan to grind this stuff won't be a thing - drop rate is a bit lower than I first thought.
Well I'm also having fun again so all is well I guess.

tommalmm✭✭✭On one character (I've not played in few weeks) upon login, I've got: RTFW mail with geode (probably from the last time, I logged out before I've received the mail?), campaign end (with gold), campaign end (with geode), then I've got like 22k AP and found two additional RTFW (with geode in one of them).

I Pvp'd for a while today at lunchtime. I received a ROTW mail at 13:40 local time, my first one today. It did not contain a geode.
So, what exactly is the "First of the day"?
Is there in fact a cool down of 20 hrs or 24 hrs between these "guaranteed" rewards? There was only 15hrs or so between my two first of the day ROTW mails.
Does anyone know?

I'm pretty sure it resets at the same time as writs etc. For me this is around 7 or 8 AM CET every morning.

I'm British Summer Time at the moment. It's 15:30 here now.
Alright. I'm MDT which is currently "server" time I believe (pledges reset at midnight for me). 8:36am here now.
So your first RFTW was received at 3:30pm MDT, your second was at 6:40am. I think that crosses out the thought it "resets" at a standard time. These random timers that we have to personally keep track of are really starting to tick me off. Is it too much to ask that crap resets at a set, standard time for everyone like a normal game? Seriously? It's not gonna give anyone an upper hand.0 -

I got my next ROTW mail at 19:15 local. and that had an uncracked geode in it. That's just over 20 hrs from the last ROTW mial I received that contained one.
So, from this, it looks like there could well be a 20 hour cool down on the guaranteed geode drop for ROTW.PC EU1
