Because if it's more than five this system is bollocks.
So, you want to be able to transmute something everyday for doing 2 normal dungeons?
If the punchline is 'your an entitled child who wants everything handed to him' you dont get an answer.
Yesterday in a few hours of playtime I got more than half the crystals required for a retrait by doing exactly what I normally do in ESO on weeknights. After one evening of not doing anything different I'm halfway to a BIS trait on my powered Maelstrom fire staff, or decisive Infallible staff, or charged Ravaging dagger, or.... That's perfectly acceptable progress in my book.
This, now it looks like PvP get plenty of drops from reward from the worthy.Yesterday in a few hours of playtime I got more than half the crystals required for a retrait by doing exactly what I normally do in ESO on weeknights. Believe it or not, but we don't subscribe to your newsletter, nor are we following you on social media. None of us was sitting next to you when you did exactly what you do normally in ESO.
You may want to tell us what exactly you did and what you got. Your comment as it is is rather useless.
I noticed that new characters got lots of reward for the worthy then I leveled pvp on them, far more than caracters with fully leveled pvp skill lines. so leveling pvp noob characters might work well

I know, I also knew mail was full of them after leveling pvp on an character first time during midyear mayhem It was weird, yes I might have messed up and mail from previous one was added to.I noticed that new characters got lots of reward for the worthy then I leveled pvp on them, far more than caracters with fully leveled pvp skill lines. so leveling pvp noob characters might work well
I doubt that’s true. AFAIK it’s one Reward of the Worthy per 20k earned AP.
First rewards for the worthy mail of the day (Large Uncracked Transmutation Geode, 4-25 crystals)

Doesn't look as if it's that simple. "First rewards for the worthy mail of the day" may be an oversimplification.
I PvP'd for a while yesterday evening and received my first ROTW mail at 22:30 local time. It contained an uncracked geode which rendered 4 crystals.
I Pvp'd for a while today at lunchtime. I received a ROTW mail at 13:40 local time, my first one today. It did not contain a geode.
So, what exactly is the "First of the day"?
Is there in fact a cool down of 20 hrs or 24 hrs between these "guaranteed" rewards? There was only 15hrs or so between my two first of the day ROTW mails.
Does anyone know?

Question @RaddlemanNumber7 , what is your local timezone? It could either have a cooldown, or "reset" at a set time like writs and pledges.

I'm British Summer Time at the moment. It's 15:30 here now.
It might be an timed cooldown 20 or 24 hour like random dungeons. For random dungeons you see the reward is 1/3 of normal before timer is up. Don't think its any visible for rewards.RaddlemanNumber7 wrote: »First rewards for the worthy mail of the day (Large Uncracked Transmutation Geode, 4-25 crystals)

And yes it look like PvP is the best way to farm them, reward for the worthy is very fast to get.
