Because if it's more than five this system is bollocks.

So, you want to be able to transmute something everyday for doing 2 normal dungeons?

Right?
Well if the OP is going to start a thread that is answered with the patch notes ... you're going to get a sarcastic response.

I thought it was 40, did that get changed?

That's still way too muchin' much for a 100 crystal limit and a sevearly drowned drop rate.
The idea was to grind less, not more, you *** ***.
This, its horror stories of people doing VMA 500 times without getting wanted sharpened weapon back then it was the only trait. Many dungeon weapons are also very rare.Doctordarkspawn wrote: »Valkyn_Eltrys wrote: »Doctordarkspawn wrote: »Still waiting for the upfront cost for one transmute.

Sure, it's a bit of a high amount, but in my opinion the idea is that you grind for a bit of equipment and if after x runs you still don't have a bit with the desired trait, you can make it that desired trait.
Looks like its time for more zerging after we are done with dolmens. So from what I'm reading here us pver's are averaging about 5-6 crystals after 3 vet dungeons which is the most that average pvers do per day that rewards crystals. And I just saw a pvper say that in 3 hours of simply sieging in cyrodiil, he already got 100 crystals just from rewards for the worthy... Sure.... Sounds fair
Having them drop from random normal daily was very wise.I'm slightly aggravated after reading this thread. The process of 'transmutating' an item should not be easy or cheap. Just stop for a moment and consider the ramifications if it was. The market would collapse. The need to 'grind' for anything would greatly diminish. Everyone would be meta.
Personally, if anything I'm put out that crystals can be attained via any 'normal' content. I feel that the privilege of transmutation should be only for end-game players... but that's another conversation, for another thread

if not it would killed dungeon finder for vet dungeon.
Imagine all the scrubs who would queue for random veteran hoping for an easy dungeon or an carry.
Rewarding it for normal pledges, not so much, perhaps if normal dropped a bit less. say vet give 3 average, normal give 2.
You still want to do it in vet unless you know its an dungeon you hate.

However, some forum-goers had done an excellent job of summarizing the info we did have (on stone counts) ... and posted those on the PTS forums.
