Do I have to complete vvanderfell before Clockwork?

I don't own Morrowind expansion so I ignore if their NPCs or stories are related.
For example, I completed EP and DC zones before exploring Wrothgar, there, I found many NPCs of those areas.
Is it the same case with the expansion and clockwork city DLC? Will I have extra dialogs if I complete Vvanderfell first?

✭✭✭✭✭No, but I assume it makes more sense to do it morrowind before doing cwc for better dialogue2 -
Annalyse✭✭✭✭✭The Morrowind chapter does introduce you to the Clockwork City background, and for anyone that has it I would recommend doing it first just for that reason. Having not done anything in the new DLC I am not sure about NPCs but I imagine there could be some crossover like Orsinium had. That said, I don't think it would really take away from the experience if you hadn't ever played through Morrowind because everything would be explained.

✭✭✭✭✭There is a starter quest in the original zones that might be nice to do before CWC. Or, you can just jump into CWC if you want.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

✭Morrowind story-line does not impact on CWC (I have completed both)...but as Nestor said, it is a good lead in if you do the "starter quest" in the base game zones (go to a mages guild and find a note to start you off.1 -

✭✭I ran cwc on the PTS without having finished Morrowind. It was its own thing.
I think a lot of the background actually turns up in ingame books and character dialogue.0
