Drop rate for masks?

Hmmm... Now you’ve got me thinking... Didn’t I read somewhere that the older masks had an increased drop-rate compared to the newer masks? I’m pretty certain I read that that the other day. And it was a ZOS post as well.

I finally got my first mask, after about 200 skulls. Then after that I managed to get FOUR MORE within a day. Every single one was Thicketman V.2.
That is not random, at least not for me.
But at least I have a cool mask, though, so I can't complain.

To be honest, the difference between Scarecrow and Thicketman mask is so small doesn't even matter which one you got, they look so close to it i even had trouble knowing which one i got from the picture i'm looking right now as the patch download.0 -

I can get anywhere from 15-20 an hour on just one character. It's all about your location rotation.
