As long as there are two requirements:
    a) minimum CP of 300 (brand new 160 CP characters will be a drag)
    b) You must have completed the trial at least once before

While I would be fine pugging a normal trial. There's no way I would do veteran this way, I don't want to go through that much pain.

Certainly I would not have objections to this, but would like to point out all those thread of players who seem to think they are too good for most that use GF.

If they need to rely on GF to do 4 man dungeons my guess is they would also need to use GF for trials as well.

I say have a menu that people can go to and choose whether they want to join a trials group or lead one. If you choose to join one your name, level, role, class, gear and stats (like how many trials have you completed in the past) pops up on a list of everyone else looking to join. If you choose to lead one then you get to look through the list of interested people and select who you want for your trials team. That way people who aren't equipped or ready for trials won't get picked or will only get picked by other people not ready for trials.

If the Trials get a new "training wheels" mode then yeah, maybe. Otherwise it's a disaster just waiting to happen and create moar dramas.
The normal craglorn trials is easy enough, MoL and HoF is harder and more mechanic.
We are obviously talking normal trials here. Vet would be idiotic.

Yes those in Normal are easy enough... with genuine tanks and healers. You've seen how many fakes queue for those roles in 4-man runs?

Um do trials with a bunch of pugs?

Um how about no repeat a million times.

Idiotic idea, but having said that, ZoS in its infinite wisdom will probably put it in just to annoy a lot of people.

Trials are for guilds on comms, for obvious reasons.

I agree they should put trials back on the LFG tool. However, there needs to be some requirement in place, mostly cp level but other requirements would probably not hurt. That being said, ive had some horrible pug experiences on vet 4 man stuff, scaling that up with 3 times the scrubs would be... "fun".

well at least CP level 200 would be enough maybe, bugs are always risky. I did my first trial two nights ago, Aetherian Archive, with a group found on zonechat, they have a trial, doing vet trials, so they took me to my first time to normal and I died at every boss, but it was still fun

You always has the kick tool.
Also players queue as fake tank or healers in dungeons as it tend to work, it will not work in an trial, trials also has more DD slots
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

The beauty of the OP's suggestion is that if you don't want to do a PUG trial...YOU DON'T HAVE TO.... but I for one wouldn't mind this option...

Agreed. Why would more options be worse? Sometimes guilds dont have people online that want to do trials, sometimes you are online when they are at work, then you are just what, never supposed to do trials?

To clarify, I’m not against the actual LFG function, but rather the impacts it has when people can’t beat said content with their PUG and complains, yells and whines until content is nerfed over and over.

It’s the same with dungeons, how many times have they all been nerfed because of people complaining and whining?

Have you ever seen a dungeon get buffed or more challenging?

Thats why we should have three difficulties. Story, Normal, and Veteran. Story you get green gear, normal blue, and vet purple with a chance of gold. ^-^

I encountered a bug before, but was like 2+ years ago. Was in the dungeon finder, but somehow ended up in a trial group, so I left the group. I had it set up for the daily random normal reward for some quick XP before I went to bed. But something bugged out and ended up in a trial. Don't remember which one it was, but ended up in a 12 person group instance. So I am guessing the code is within dungeon finder or at least it was to do that sort of function, there is just no way to select trials at the moment.

If 2 years ago there was a trial queue...maybe you joined both the dungeon and trial queues as that was possible. ZOS said the trial queue never worked tho....shrug

Having one would work tho, there would be a lot of kicking and replacing tho. Both normal and vet should exist with scaling.

ZOS should at least have a tool to help ppl set up groups ingame a week out with a post and sign up board in towns.

Your ideas are not a GF system. Looks more like someone forming up a group from a guild.

Besides, the raid leader gets a free pass yet selects everyone else? That is the first flaw. What qualifications do they have? Maybe Zos can approve raid leaders for the game and as long as one of them is queued the group can be formed.

Do not have Gina's or Matt's blessings then you cannot raid lead in GF. Seriously, think about it. Flawed idea.

Again, I have no issues with normal trials being added to GF, but there is zero reason to think Zos can come up with a great system to put together great groups, even for normal trials. Just know that some runs will be rough. Zos should also just delete any thread that complains about GF trial groups.

So long as there's a max level (and high cp) requirement, then perhaps i'd be interested in it for Normal trials.

    Veteran trials? :D noty

Yes please, add normal trials (at least) to the grouping tool. I think it could work, with level requirements, only for normal trials. Also, all the poeple who´s claiming it would be horrible wouldn´t have to use it, they could continue using their methods (guilds and all that). Nobody would be obligated to use the grouping tool.
