Apparently stam sorc = mag sorc on the forums...

You have rally as your burst heal and vigor as your emergency HoT. You don't have strong self heals as a stam sorc, but dark deal can be a decent heal as well.

most of the time now in cyro all you see is mag sorcs did not want to be on the bandwagon and join the rest so I stayed on stam sorc but even with dark deal still seem like it takes forever to bump your health up right away.

I don't even run rally or vigor on my stam-sorc. Crit surge and dark deal are more than enough.

Stats?
I do fine with 60% Crit 4k WD 35k max Stam.
I have no cp into Blessed. Between crit Surge rally vigor and rending I do fine.
If bow slot Draining Shot.

yea stam sorc is my vMSA farmer too

Though no Flawless yet, mostly from lack of trying I would say.

But yea, in PvP their heals are pretty good. Dark Deal is really good to use. Get you stamina back too.

What is this everything they do have?

Where are the class spam, class execute, class burst, class debuffs?

Which offensive skills does the sorc lines offer for stamina players?

Who uses dark deal for the heal (especially in combat situations where you need a burst heal)?

You can use at best 1/3 of all sorc skills and 1/2 of the passives.

They mostly rely on weapon skills and these are avaiable to everyone.

Or are you telling me every stam sorc in PvP MUST run 2h + surge?

Stam sorcs are great in solo pve and okay at best. For raids are far better options avaiable.

So tell me, when they have absolutely everything, why aren't they at the top? Why is there no Stam Sorc meta in group play PvE or PvP?

Curt surge alone is ridiculously strong.

Add dark deal class specific heal and resource management.

Add vigor

Then depending on your weapon choice rally or blood craze heal from DW.

Stam sorcs have a metric ton of healing.

Bone Pirate Hundings Sellistrix Khajiit DW daggers.

The real difference maker for me was bladecloak.
So 25% less damage from almost every major ultimate reducing the amount of healing needed.

Right now I am running Bone Pirate and Toothrow (Until I get the VO pieces I need), so my sustain is actually pretty good using Dubious Camoron Throne. I just have to weave in a heavy attack every once in a while or cast Dark Deal once or twice during a fight.

What I like about using dark deal and surge over Rally and Vigor is they use magicka. And as a stam sorc, you really do not need a magicka pool and casting stamina heals will hurt your sustain more.

I also missed the PVP aspect of the post. But even in PVP these two work pretty well at healing. Crit surge plus hurricane almost guarantees you are being healed if anyone puts pressure on you. And if they are at a distance, Dark Deal is great because it limits their options for an interrupt.

Yes, probably you're right. Not saying sS is in a bad spot but it's far from on top.

But to add something to the topic:

OP asked about PvP in specific. Crit Surge is good if you can keep the pressure on them. Vigor as a second base. And then there the issue will begin with the next patch, thanks to armor skill changes. If you don't want to loose mobility you will miss rally or the strength of heavy armor.

Bone Pirate with Hunding is good 2 heavy 5 Medium or 1/5/1 with a few points in health maybe. Sustain is great.

Surge + max blessed/strikes + 60%+ crits = 6K heal per second for 33 seconds just from one skill. No other character have that. No one. Even Magplar require at least 2-3 mobs to puncture them for that heal.

They are at the top and there has been a well established Stam Sorc META in both PvP and PvE for well over a year.
Only the recent two patches have we seen other stam classes compete on the same level.

Strange, all I read and see about pve raids are stamDk and magsorcs for dps. And a stam sorc was a rare sight in PvP over the summer, at least on PC EU. However, I noticed some more of them in vivec lately.

E: the only "stam sorc meta" I know about is for solo pve maybe.

As a Stam sorc. Using Draugar. I can heal pretty well. Having 40K or more stam makes the tool tips very nice on Vigor.

I had to learn to run Vigor proactively and this is what made the big difference for me not just in Stam sorc, but any Stam class that does not have a stam heal in their kit. If you run proactive vigor with Rally emergency heals you will have great survive-ability.
