It is a social game at the core to hang with your friends and enjoy yourselves in many ways. Tbh I am seeing the less and less of the nice players that really made logging on a blast.
With the said, if they're not going to buff all the classes so they are all fun to play, plz nerf incaps low ulti cost - soul strike cost and damage, and poisons.
I think so, too. People are tired of their characters being nerfed every five seconds.Girl_Number8 wrote: »I would say the nerfs have a lot to do with it.
Bought my game through Steam, never played through Steam. I'd say I'm certainly not the only one so those numbers don't really prove a lot. If anything, they prove less people play through Steam now than they did before.
Exactly. Relative numbers are relative. So if it's being witnessed that steam only has 70 % of logins now compared to a couple of months ago, it can be assumed that that reflects pretty well the overall activitiy (also non-steam). At least as long as steam hasn't done something particular to upset their players and make them abandon it, it's pretty safe to say that it's ESO.
Not saying the numbers are right. Just some thoughts on the relevance of them if they are.

so they just fount out that they can log in without steam?
If you log in with steam , you keep doin so or dont.
Look at eso steam chart , numbers go up after every new dlc then droping later , looks true for me.
Zos dont want to invest in endgame players , for there good reasons, and that what we see ,less numbers in trials but more new players , the money is there.
There’s only arround 7k people avg on Steam for the last 2 or 3 months. Before it was 10k people avg. The game need to go on sale or something...
As I write this there are 11,416 playing ESO on Steam. However, comparatively few PC players use it for ESO especially the veterans as it wasn't an option at launch, and two-thirds of the playerbase aren't on the PC in the first place.
Is there a statistic for this?
I'm just saying that PC being one of three options doesn't mean each option is 1/3 of the player base.

It seems that the people who do not wish to see it never will, and those who simply take things as is tend to come to a consensus it is slowing down.
Or perhaps the people who are determined to see a reduction aren't willing to acknowledge that there are more places to go and more things to do compared with earlier in the year. A new zone, two new dungeons, a new form of PvP, all these things mean people being more spread out.
Don't even try bro
Some have been playing the funeral dirge since the game launched and will be here playing the same dirge in eight years, you can give every reason why they are wrong...and they will just see doom.
No it's really really dead this time
No stop laughing I'm serious this time!!!
I personally don't give two figs if the game has 5k or 5 million players...I don't see anything coming down the line that is going to hold my attention like ESO does and the folks I play with feel the same way. Honestly if "Dying" meant I wouldn't have to listen to some of the constant cry babies on this forum (which will never happen btw) I'm all for death.
So gazing into my crystal ball I see the same complainers complaining on the forum eight years from now, and I'll enjoy referencing this post to make a point from time to time.

I stand by my statement.
You can stop trying to crush dissent.

Oh no one is trying to crush your dissent Mr. Drama, you are not fighting some ideological political battle, it's video game dude...get a frigging grip.
I personally feel bad for folks whose lives are reduced to complaining for 8- 12 hours a day on a forum of a game they hate, some do it out of a messed up sense of revenge because they didn't get their beloved TES VI, some do it because a shill of a streamer told them to and they have to be good little soldiers, some just do it because trolling forums is what they do.
Most reasons anyone can come up with are pretty sad. My sig talks about how folks really don't have to be here and I put that there because it's a truism.
The game will never ever be what some want, it will never pass their litmus test of awesome, so by staying around they are just taking advantage of a community team that lets them troll and brings down the rest of the forum community.
Maybe that's the real reason they stick around.

Relative privation, dude.
Also, he already said he's not changing his view, so why even bother responding? Just give it up. If people don't want to listen, then the argument or opinion-sharing marathon is over.
