Ok, so far I am irritated at this obvious psychological based money grab and I am irritated that I would have fallen for it if I hadn't looked at the preview and thought, I would actually never use this it looks ugly.
But let us not forget the fact that none of ZOS's greedy money grabs include anything that affects gameplay, so there is still no Pay To Win, and I really really really like that.As a casual player I was satisfied that at one point I had a char max level and near max crafting with almost all motifs and I pretty much lost interest. Then ESO discovered DLC's and now my main is just a wanabe and I am happily pulled back into the game.2 -

But I only have a vanilla horse and I've been really wanting to purchase a cool/epic looking mount which means pretty much any mount in the cash shop is cooler than mine. But I haven't seen anything so far that makes me want it enough to buy it. I like the stag, its subtle but ominous. If it was 2k I'd probably break down and buy it, but for 4k I'd expect something a lot more epic.1

And here I was about to come back and renew my ESO+ membership. This really turned me off. Yes I understand it's a business. Now they run a gambling business it seems.
Yes I don't have to buy. I am so turned off the game now just because of this. I mean why should a mount cost as much as Morroinwind DLC?

I can confirm this. I bought this little guy and something does in fact trigger his eyes to glow red. Haven't worked out what yet though as it didn't seem to last long.1 -
