Our group has this fight down pretty well. But we are getting down to around 20% every time and when 4 ads spawn we can deal with it once but when another set of 4 ads drop I feel like our group is stat burnt. My question is when you have a successful group complete this fight are you getting 4 ads twice or just once or not at all? Is our dps a little low if we hit 4 ads twice?

    That is a DPS check actually. Your group DPS is probably too low. Also DPS has to be equally spread among the two so they drop at the same time. If one is alive for more than 10-15s after the other dies it throws all that color stuff out of whack.

    We are managing the health pretty well when we have a good run we are within 2% of each other. But that's the last of our concerns right now we would really like to just kill one first then we can adjust if needed.

    Both bosses should be dead before another wave of 4 adds spawn

    if youre starting to get 4 adds per wave, you really need to focus on executing boss cause at that point, it is really not about killing adds but the bosses

    if you guys are constantly failing at execute, group dps is probably the issue

    We like to coordinate ultimate use for these adds. We typically have 4 Magicka DPS on dark side, and we drop 2 destro ultis when the adds get chained in, before conversion. Just have to be careful not to use 3-4 at once or the following wave of adds will not die quickly enough.

    On light side, there are usually some stamina DPS that can use a weaker ultimate every single add wave. If there are Magicka DPS then alternating storms work well there too.

    It really comes down to chaining them in quickly. If they are not dead by conversion then several of the ultimates become ineffective (attacking same color).

    As others said - it's a dps check. Most groups you see on youtube clear that fight with 2-3 add waves. If you are getting 4 even once, it means the DPS is low and should be adressed. It is exponentially harder to stay alive and focused when you start getting 4 add waves.

    DPS fail may actually be due to people dying during the add phase ex. eating the negate on the blue side or being stunned with no interrupts on the yellow side.

    This is a result of group DPS being too low.

    The issue can be any or all of these things:
    1. People are dying too much - they deal 0 DPS, and someone who is dealing DPS has to stop in order to resurrect the dead ally
    2. Adds are not chained quick enough or at all - this causes players to focus on killing adds rather than the boss, and overall creates more dangerous situations which makes your Damage Dealers play more defensive (or die)
    3. Not enough Aggressive Warhorns are going out to buff group damage, and Healer's are not providing enough uptime on Minor Beserk for the group.
    4. Your Damage Dealers are not dealing enough damage due to bad setups, very low CP, and/or excessively sloppy rotations.
    5. Damage Dealers are not playing smartly - casting Elemental Storm/Meteor right before a boss teleports or before adds spawn, CCing adds before they can be pulled to the correct side, etc. Gotta play smart or you won't be able to do well in these tougher trials.

    One quick question. If you drop an ultimate and you get a color swap does the d.o.t thats already applied get mitigated due to wrong color? And if this is the case on the later ad waves when you have 3 or 4 wouldn't it be smarter to drop your ultimate after the swap so your ultimate gets it's full effect. You have more time after the swap and before the prayer phase then you do when the ads are all chained and before color swap.

    if you get converted, all dots and ultimates on the boss you were attacking before basically does 0 damage, thats why chainers need to be on top of their game the second adds spawn so you have more time to burn adds before you get converted, adds also need to be killed before the room explodes during prayer phase or even before

    doesnt help that frames are complete garbage on consoles, im sure its bearable or better on pc, but when bars dont swap and abilities come out late, dps is so bad because of the lag
