How do we stop getting notifications from topics in the forums?

How do we stop getting notifications in topics we no long want. I posted in ESO ask us anything and I am getting bombarded with them and would like them to stop.

Click that little gear up there ^ next to your name.
Go to Edit Profile and you'll see Notification preferences on the left
Uncheck boxes you don't want

I tried that I still want notifications just not from that single topic anymore.

If you created a question you'll need to contact an admin as it seems broken. I got emails AND notifications.
If not then the notification will always occur for a thread you created but not an email.

Can you not unsubscribe to a Topic? I do not get any spam in my mailbox.

If you turn on notifications for threads you have participated in, there is no way to opt out of specific threads - it's all or nothing.

However, you can disable notifications for participated threads, and instead enable them for bookmarked threads. This allows you to effectively subscribe/unsubscribe at will by checking/unchecking the star icon at the top of a thread.

Sorry for refreshing this topic but is there any way to remove old notifications from my Profile "Notifications" tab ?
I have a lot of clutter there now... old notifications about some edited comments, removed comments etc. Is there any way to remove those or it will just disappear on its own ?
