Wrothgar and Vvardenfell have really good storylines and atmosphere.

Apart from these two which zones (part of the base game) has the best zones with respect to storylines, atmosphere and music ?

I really like Craglorn. The nirncrux theme runs deep, and the various questlines around the zone are interesting.

Not since One Tamriel. You can solo the entire main quest for Craglorn and there are regular delves.

I really enjoyed Glenumbra. Haughty nobles, devious assassinations, secluded witches, roaming werewolves, creepy cemeteries! It's incredibly diverse while still screaming "BRETOOOOOON". It's great. Also, it's a really beautiful zone, in my opinion.

The Exclusionary Mandates of Maruhkite Selection: All Are Equal

1: That the Supreme Spirit Akatosh is of unitary essence, as proven by the monolinearity of Time.
1: That Shezarr the missing sibling is Singularly Misplaced and therefore Doubly Venerated.
1: That the protean substrate that informs all denial of (1) is the Aldmeri Taint.
1: That the Prophet Most Simian demonstrated that monothought begets Proper-Life.
1: That the purpose of Proper-Life is the Expungement of the Taint.
1: That the Arc of Time provides the mortal theater for the Sacred Expungement.

    Auridon is really pretty.

Vvardenfell had some really interesting Quests. Like, A Melodic Mistake.

    Kenarthi's Roost.

When I'm feeling down in game, I start wandering around there again.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

I like the storylines in Rivenspire and Reaper's March, and the music in Vvardenfell, though (apart from the areas away from Red Mountain), I don't really like the look of these zones. In terms of nature/landscapes, I think Auridon, northern Eastmarch, Stormhaven, Alik'r Desert (at night), Cyrodiil, Eyevea, and Khenarthi's Roost are all really beautiful. And you can't beat Coldharbour for its ominous, oppressive atmosphere - I think that was really well done.

Shadowfen because my main is an argonian and I love their lore.

Alikr because I love the look of the desert, it's just so beautiful.

of course, Auridon. The majestic architecture of the Ayleids, the beautiful sky, the sea and the beaches. Everything is copied from Italy and Greece. And the Mediterranean Sea is the center of European culture. I meant the culture of the elves. ))

For me it's in order: Khenarthi's Roost, Auridon, Grahtwood (mostly for the excellent guide near wayshrine in Elden Root :D ). That's probably because my first character was an AD Khajiit, and I had so much fun playing for the first time, when everything was so new and awesome.
