Who would actually vote no on this? Of course we need the skill point, there is no logical reason we shouldn't.

Irmagerd...this complaint is still a thing? Go out and get all the other hundreds of skill points it's possible to get in the game and when the only one you don't have is that one, come back and whine about how you need it to make your life complete.

Can you NOT READ! Completionists desire this point even if we don't need it... dam

Can YOU not read? Do you have all other skill points except this one?

Dude, If you bothered to read my first comment in my thread i have 340 skillpoints with 12 unused, I want this skill point to COLLECT it, not to use... do you know what a completionist is?

Yeah I know what a completionist is... it's like OCD but for gaming :)

No thank you, all toons created before morrowind do not deserve this skillpoint.
Biased poll. Lacks the option "I don't care about a single, measly skill point".

Exactly. I have lost not a second of sleep over one skill point in this game.

Whether it's one skill point or one hundred is not the issue. Consistency across characters is the issue.

see what I mean? as I said the idc crowd is coming and is going to flame this thread. they will say zos has more important things to do and then from there they will say one skill point wont make a difference when you have 300plus skillpoints when they don't understand that completionism is a playstyle that exists weither they care about it or not

thwy do have more important things to worry about.

93% of the people who vote care, buddy... You know what they should worry about? Listening to the PTS feedback... It would have been nice if they listened to the countless people that complained about it during the PTS period. People don't just give feedback because it makes them feel good, we do it so the bugs get fixed. They disregard a massive amount of things they are completely aware about every PTS... Back when orsinium came out gil reported in the PTS how carnage was broken and not working... They acknowledged it on these forums, and didn't fix it until the next patch 6 months later. You know how messed up it was having your main toon a khajiit without the only decent passive working? Back when race change was not allowed either...

I don't care because there are plenty of skill points you can get elsewhere without relying on this one.

That's cool, except for the other 95% of the people that do care. No one is "relying" on this skill point, it is a quality of life thing. Why drive when you could walk? The big issue lies within the perfectionist and completionist players. How would you feel if you had every single skill point in the game unlocked, except this one? All due to incompetence... This was reported on the PTS by several people, and ignored.

Dude you need to go outside take a breather. One skillpoint will not let you suddenly access every skill in the game. It really does not impact the game in any meaningful way to have one less skillpoint on a toon when there are literally hundreds of them.

If the new toons are double dipping Morrowind and Coldharbor tutorials, just scrap the skillpoint quest rewards and leave them with the level-up points only.

The poll did not ask if people care. The poll asked if people wanted something for free. Let's try a poll asking people how important that skill point is, or even how many unallocated skill points they currently have across their characters.

I would just be happy if they would address bugs faster, even if they never did anything with PTS again. I'd be happier if they had a better process in place to catch bugs before release.

Right. If you own Morrowind and skip the tutorial you get a skill point, and then you'd get another one for that quest too, leaving players with new Morrowind characters still one point ahead of some of the others.

I completed both tutorials and my warden character did not get another skill point for the wailing prison. So, how exactly do Morrowind characters have more skill points?
Pugging. Pugging all the way to victory.
Imperial Dragonknight --- male, stamina, heavy & medium armor, dual wield, one hand and shield, two handed.
Breton Templar --- female, magicka, light armor, restoration staff.
Redguard Warden --- female, stamina, medium armor, bow.
Breton Sorcerer --- male, magicka, light armor, destruction staff.
Imperial Templar --- male, stamina, medium armor, two handed.

It doesn't bother me personally, and I don't fully understand why it bothers completionists who surely need only to complete a character with all skill points that are available to that character. Most players, however, will be missing some skill points here or there depending on whether or not they have done all the DLCs as well as PvP zones etc, and from a practical point of view there are more than anyone really needs.

I have no problem with the case for the extra skill point to be made available to pre-Morrowind characters, in many ways it makes sense while not being a priority, but I would need an unbiased poll before I actually voted for it.

I mean, it is not like we deserve it or not, it is just 1 skill point. You can hget many skill points all over Tamriel, questing, public dungeons, normal dungeons, vet dungeons, pvp... I do not think 1 makes a huge difference.

@aliyavana Looks like we may need to test this again... maybe they fixed it without telling us? If they have fixed that still leaves a bunch of characters with one extra skill point though...
