They're only good for deconstructing, researching, and selling. Bonus points if it's Ornate.

I like the IDEA of quest rewards. I mean, why would anyone not want/like a reward? But the one's you get in the game are just decon fodder, as they're never anything truly unique, or better than what you could craft/loot/find on your own.

Blah nothing, special. Your would think a gold weapon would, drop once in a bluemoon. Just,to sucker people in if nothing else.

Maybe it's time for something new? Or what if they drop some housing items?

Too little reward for time spent ... literally get more gold for 30 seconds of picking pockets ... the ones that at least give skill points or guild xp are just ok but still not great

I'd rather see crafting or housing items. Heck even potions or soul gems.

Also introduce weekly dungeon rewards like trials have.

Quest rewards in this game are worthless. This is one of the many reasons why PVE in this game feels so spectacularly boring and unrewarding.

Maybe upon completing a zone quest, but remember this is an MMO and (in addition) you don't want to reward players for being on auto-pilot.

Players have been screaming that they can't find Vvardenfell furnishing recipes ... so maybe giving one upon the completion of the main quest and Telvanni/Balmora quests.

An idea worth considering, then, as long as it isn't given out like candy.

I save those with stories to remind me, pricy stuff gets sold and the rest goes in the scrap box

In terms of userbility they are not worth it in the slightest

I saved those pants in my bank, because it's a reference to easter egg from TES3. <3

I don't like items from quests, becasue they are mostly useless. But I like the fact that they are unique and have stories.
I'm keeping some in my bank, just as trophy. Prophet's staff for example.

Well they could add like 1 mount/apparel/pet to each zone/raid from the tens they release in crown crates.

The only ""useful" reward was the "Mother's Sorrow" lightning stave, until it was nerfed.
    Groupfinder:
The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

    Rulz of Morrowind:
    • The first rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • The second rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • Third rule of Morrowind: Someone yells NDA stuff, uploads images, streams, the game is over.
    • Fourth rule: only invited players can test.
    • Fifth rule: one invite at a time, fellas.
    • Sixth rule: crying or bashing on pts.
    • Seventh rule: NDA will go on as long as they have to.
    • And the eighth and final rule: If this is your first invite at Morrowind, you have to play.

Some of the set item rewards are ok (at CP 160),but few and far between.

They are good for deconstructing and selling when you are starting a new character. When I was leveling up my 1st character I used to use the rewards given from quests, but as soon as I realised what was going on in ESO I noticed the rewards from quests are not good to use, unless it is your very first character and you have nothing else to wear.

I'm generally indifferent to quest rewards, when they have those little tidbits from the quest at the bottom. HOWEVER, I got a charged flame staff of fire dmg and the only thing different was the name. It didn't have any (midly) interesting comment, it wasn't part of a set. Just a regular staff that nobody besides me would know that it's a named staff. Like, at least make it part of a set, and make it an irregular motif (for example; the silks of the sun set is breton, but there's a dunmer fire staff in the set). At least that.

THIS a thousand times over. And while we're at it... the same is true of chests and the treasure chests found via maps. THOSE desperately need an overhaul!

Exactly, I don't even bother checking what the items are anymore, what set they are or what bonuses they have.
It just goes right to the junk pile to be sold or deconned without a second thought.

That would be amazing yet simple addition that fits the eso style. Thou might be outdated with transmog comes.

I really hope they pay attention to this and consider overhauling quest and chest rewards in an upcoming update. I actually like to do quests but yes, feel they are completely pointless.
