These Gold Sellers work in teams. I answer a zone about some Decorative Wax at a good price. Next thing I know I get a friend request from the seller, then a group a request, then I get whispers from several others wanting to sell the same thing. Turns out these people had 1000's of Decorative Wax. Wonder where they got it?
Anyway, my advice, for commodities, buy them from guild stores. They are all priced at about market price anyway, and avoid buying from any player that has lots of listings for the same thing.

Kind of confused at what actually happened by reading your description. You said a girl couldn't figure out how to COD it but a guy invited you. Am i missing something here?

That’s were the sketchy part started.
You probably took the gold attachment on autopilot, same as the rest of us do with hirelings, etc. Then, when you paused to look, no gold attached appearing you got scammed.personally, I hate COD. I once got screwed over it, I send the item + COD. He got the item but I never got the gold, so I don't trust COD much. I personally rather do trade
