While i like the idea of a progressive punishment. I feel that this is too nice to habitual quitters.
Should be:
First 10 min
Second, 30 min
Third, 1 hour
Fourth, One Day
Fifth, 1 Full week.
And juat like you say, it resets weekly.
Doesn't seem like ranting about being penalized, but rather about a bug regarding the group finder tool. Seriously, a 1hr timer is overkill.
Sure it was normal ICP, with a lvl 16, a lvl 22, and a cp 100+, and normally there isn't much reason to kick lowbies or leave groups from a normal dungeon. However, they're lvls were not the point. The point was that one dps was taunting with a ice stave, and the healer was taunting with puncture. That being said, my preferred method is to say something after I notice that taunt has been pulled away from me by someone else. Usually its a DPS with an ice staff who didn't know about the taunt or who accidentally heavy attacked. I say that its no problem, and it really isn't. Accidents happen. If the player with an ice staff or Pierce Armor taunt really wants that aggro, I hope they've got the ability to handle it because if you want to deliberately pull aggro away from the tank, you get what you you asked for.
So my suggestion to the OP is this. The next time someone doesn't listen to you about taunt abilities, let them taunt the boss and deal with the results. Sometimes, experience is the best teacher.
Its not just the dps and healer that taunt mobs and bosses, its them not doing the job they are supposed to do.
It’s torturing to have a dps that just use ice staff heavy attack and call it dps, 1 or 2 k dps every second is torturing.
Then the healer with sword and board and pierce armor everything, I mean he’s healer not a dps nor tank. And he died the fastest.
I explained to them, then they moved on and continue to do so, I guess they thought I’m the noob.
They want to play it their way fine, I just rather wait out 15min for leaving the group and try another pug.
But no, I get one hour penalty, hence my thread.
It’s my first dungeon in 24 hours too, not like I leave one after the other.
I’ve done normal icp with two level 10 dps before, it’s smooth and fast.
I pug 5 dungeons daily over 2 years, I know how to deal with pugs.

You got a penalty for leaving the group before the Dungeon was finished, it's that simple, it's how that works.

Actually thatś not how public forums work. People can say what they want.
Learn to play with the other children. Frankly if youŕe CP600+ and dont have dozens of people from 5 different guilds to run dungeons with thereś something wrong with you. Also if youŕe CP 600+ and cant run a normal with basically anyone that explains why a 600+ tank isnt completely overwhelmed with invites to do dungeons with guildies. A good CP 600+ tank will NEVER have a shortage of people wanting to do dungeons with him.
If you are a DPS qued as a tank and leave because other people wont carry you through a normal dungeon youŕe just a tool. For people like you I wish there was a 24 hour penalty.

You dont just leave now and then.. you leave consistently in semi-small frametimes seeing as the ban doesnt have enough time to lower back to the normal 15 mins version XD
I feel the OP was justified in leaving. I do normal DLC dungeons to get the achievement for doing xMany and by no means do i want to:
1. Carry some randoms who dont invest anytime in researching the dungeon/mechanics before hand;
2. Waste more of my limited playtime in doing the above;
3. Select all the roles to get into a dungeon only to not have a clue.
If there is one other player who has the slightest clue i usually continue but being stuck with 3 that are wasting my time i simply leave, don't mind 15 mins but if i was penalised anymore than 15 mins i would pass on this.

Then shouldn't let lvl 15 scrubs into ICP ffs.
I thought they changed it so you had to be a minimum level for the "2" and DLC dungeons?
