Other: skill point should be for sale in the crown store for 10,000 crowns. I bet they'll sell a ton of them

Don't mean to sound, well... mean, but it is only a game.disintegr8 wrote: »I don't care because there are plenty of skill points you can get elsewhere without relying on this one.
That's cool, except for the other 95% of the people that do care. No one is "relying" on this skill point, it is a quality of life thing. Why drive when you could walk? The big issue lies within the perfectionist and completionist players. How would you feel if you had every single skill point in the game unlocked, except this one? All due to incompetence... This was reported on the PTS by several people, and ignored.
As far as i'm aware the tutorial quest is still there even if you skip doing the tutorial. For morrowind is when you're asked to investigate the lighthouse and free the slaves from Firemoth Island
Seriously, this again? With all the other problems and issues with the game, this is the only thing you can come up with to complain about, one stupid skill point?
What, housing on top of your fix list.... something that has no impact on your character and their abilities, how combat works, how easy or hard it is to progress in the game - that is just crazy. As far as i'm aware the tutorial quest is still there even if you skip doing the tutorial. that skillpoint means a lot to completionists. we gave feedback for morrowind during beta and zos ignored it which is pretty annoying... importance to game depends on the player and you need to understand that people have different playstyles, and if I could I would organize fixes by housing>pve>pvp and many might think that pvp is more important than pve or housing more important than both but all are equalliy important and this falls into it affecting a completionist playstyle

Now if changes made to housing made it easier to earn gold, than I'm all for them, but housing is way down the list of must fix items.
It's not intended, and they said it wasn't intended, but they're not going to fix it now.I have a feeling they will do this exact same thing with the next 'chapter' as well... create another 'tutorial' and give new characters an extra skill point... therefore screwing over existing characters once again. The fact that they haven't commented demonstrates that it IS intended, most controversial things that they intend they rarely ever discuss.theher0not wrote: »They should allow pre Morrowind character to do the new tutorial as a quest just as how post Morrowind characters can do the Wailing Prison.Agreed. This is the obvious and relatively-easy-to-implement solution. I have a thread about how to do that over here: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en-gb/discussion/358647/two-tutorials-two-skill-points-two-quests-two-solutions It had all of 6 repliesAllow us to take part in the tutorial quest. I can be annoying and say people paid for Morrowind and only have one character didn't get to experience all the content they paid for :PI think that's slightly different. That was a conscious choice that you made for your character. This, on the other hand, is something that you can't control.Elwendryll wrote: »While you're at it, also ask for the 2 mage guild skill points.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure there's more than enough skill points to go around and fill in every skill and morph and passive available for a character including Vamp/WW if you go with that.

Who? ZOS? It was in the ESO Live that was on during Morrowind beta, so it's not printed anywhere, but you can go back and find it.Can you quote what they said? Can't seem to find it
What's more annoying is that they didn't ignore it. They said they would fix it by changing it so that you only got one "tutorial skill point" overall, and then.... they forgot? Didn't get around to it? We don't really know why they never fixed it.that skillpoint means a lot to completionists. we gave feedback for morrowind during beta and zos ignored it which is pretty annoying...
Polls which do have an "I don't care" option are more biased, as they encourage engagement from unengaged people, and the result is invariably skewed by that. Don't care? Don't vote!^Squeaky_Clean wrote: »

Irmagerd...this complaint is still a thing? Go out and get all the other hundreds of skill points it's possible to get in the game and when the only one you don't have is that one, come back and whine about how you need it to make your life complete.

Can you NOT READ! Completionists desire this point even if we don't need it... dam
