✭✭✭✭Bloodspawn is, IMO, always superior to troll king in duels. Troll king starts to shine when you're proc'ing it on multiple people imo. It greatly adds to the survivability of a build, but in a duel where you're always getting focused 100% its not going to stop a burst combo from killing you, particularly on builds with major defile, now that health regen is effected by defile. Bloodspawn's mitigation has no counter, even 5pc Spriggan/Spinners gives less damage than BS gives mititgation.Edited by Lexxypwns on October 4, 2017 8:50PM0 -

✭Depends who you're fighting. Bloodspawn is generally better, especially if you're a vamp and can stack it with undeath (try and go above 25k hp for that combo), then it becomes extremely powerful.
If you're fighting someone who's using force shock or a lot of dots, then BS all the way.
Troll King can be very powerful if you already have a decent hp recovery, however now that major defile debuffs your hp recovery as well, it's just not worth it anymore. Even if you're a non-vamp templar.

NB can best utilize troll king of all the stam build imo. The lack of native healing and the engage-disengage playstyle where you use cloak and roll dodge to set up burst and re-buff fits perfectly into the gradual health gain of troll king. I'd still run Bloodspawn though, BS is just that good.
For me, I decide my monster helm for duels like this: Can I use skoria on this build? If not then I slot Bloodspawn

Oh yeah, heavy builds with BS and undeath, tanky as hell. I'd go as far as to say OP with major evasion. Definitely BS. Forget troll king, those incaps will be rolling out even faster with BS.0 -

✭✭✭✭If you're running cyro or BGs then troll king is superior because of the group support it offers. One way to look at troll king on a stamina build is as a buff to vigor that you get when healing low health targets.
I strongly prefer to have a stamina build cover troll king since magika builds have access to better support and damage 2pc sets1 -
